"Hey H. While the girls are busy can I talk to you about something?" Niall scratched the back of his head as he waited for his answer.

"Sure. What's up?" Harry was busy making coffee for the two of them. Niall was sat on one of the stools, he had his elbows leaning on the counter top.

"So... the wedding planning is going really well. We're still not 100% sure on some details because we've gotta check with our managers on schedules and stuff but... I wanted to ask you if you'd be my best man. Well one of them anyway. I've got Greg & Theo and a couple others as well. I know it's normally groomsmen and then a best man, but you're all my best men. I want you all involved and up there with me." Niall spoke quietly, feeling a little exposed.

Harry stopped his movements and turned to face Niall. He couldn't help but laugh.

"What's so funny? I'm asking you to be one of my best men and you just laugh?!" Niall whined.

"Dude, of course I'll be up there with you. I'm honoured. Anytime you need me I'll always be there you know that. We practically grew up together. I got you." Harry turned serious and held his fist up to fist bump Niall. Niall chuckled and did the same.

"Thanks man! Means a lot. But why the hell is that funny?"

"Because I'm pretty sure Heather is asking Shayla the exact same question right now?"

Both of them laughed at the irony of the situation before said girls, emerged into the kitchen.

"Guess who's part of the bride squad?!" Shayla exclaimed. Throwing her arms in the air and then pointing at herself.

Niall and Harry shared a look and laughed again, knowing that Harry's magic sixth sense had struck again.

Harry was in the studio with Jeff, Mitch and a couple of his producers. They'd been working on some new songs which eventually would be become an album.

However, there was one song in particular that he was struggling to finish.

"H. You're in your head too much bro. Take a break and we'll go again in 10?" the producer called out. Everyone watched Harry shrug and place the headphones back onto the mic stand.

He sulked his way back and sunk his body down into one of the corners of the booth.

They were right. He was too in his head. His head that was full of lots of different emotions.

The past couple of weeks he'd been distant because of being in the studio. When he was in the writing process he tended to become a recluse. Sticking to his little writing group and wanting that to be the focus.

He knew Shayla could sense the change but she never said anything. He appreciated the space but he wanted to be honest with her. She deserved better than how he was treating her. He was not throwing away something this good.

His feelings were so intense he needed to write. However, these intense feelings were causing him to struggle which irritated him. He wanted it to be perfect for many reasons but he knew it had to special for the both of them.

It wasn't particularly obvious that it was about Shayla. Harry had always been ambiguous with the meanings behind his songs but he knew that she would know. The little inside jokes and clues he'd already left in the song would be obvious to Shayla.

"Don't stress man. You are a brilliant writer and it will come to you. I know you like to think you're in you're own little bubble but we all know who the song is actually about. Not my place to say but we all know that she deserves the best and you are the only one to give that to her. I know this. You know this. And so does she. Fuck the whole world knows at this point. No matter how recluse you think you both are. Maybe start by being honest. Be open and honest with yourself and how you feel. Do the same for Shay and then things will be clearer for you."

Mitch had made his way over to where Harry was lay. He was lightly playing the bass as he spoke.

Harry stayed quiet for a few seconds just watching him play and then he smirked.

""Why is it that the rare occasion you choose to be talkative, you act like some wise old wizard?"

"Must be the hair!" Mitch continued to play. Smiling lightly at Harry and then moving back over to the couches.

Harry pondered over Mitch's words for a while before he pulled his phone out of his pocket and typed out a text.

Harry: Hey love! You're not working today right? Can you come down to the studio? I need to show you something xx

Within a few seconds Shayla was already typing back.

Shay: Oh okay. I kinda wanted your new stuff to be a surprise but if you really want to show me? xx

Harry: Normally I'd respect that. But I really need you right now xx

Shay: On my way. I'll bring food xx

Harry smiled before looking over at the guys.

"Who's hungry?" Harry spoke, his voice still quiet but he'd perked up quite a lot.

Mitch just looked at him and smiled, knowing he'd taken his advice to heart.
