Life can be unpredictable. This was the case for Shayla & Heather. They were living a life with two of this centuries, most well loved artists.

Harry awoke to the sunrise peeking through the curtains and a sleepy Shayla curled up against his side. Her arm was draped over his tummy and their legs were intertwined under the duvet.
He had the biggest smile on his face. Waking up like this in his family home, with people he loves, it couldn't get any better. Although, he needed to figure out a way to tell Shayla that.
They hadn't said I love you yet and although Harry was a hopeless romantic. He was finding it hard to say the words. He wanted it to be perfect and wanted her to say it back. His doubts were clouding his judgment. He worried that she didn't feel the same, so admitting his feelings would ruin everything they've built so far.
His smiled slowly turned into a frown as he wrestled with his thoughts. Shayla had now stirred in her sleep and opened one eye to look up at Harry.
"You okay gorgeous?" she mumbled. Her hand came up to rub the sleep out of her eyes.
"Hmm... yeah no I'm good. Could get used to waking up like this." he shrugged off his thoughts and pulled Shayla closer. Small sighs and giggles left both of their lips.
"Me too. I've missed you. You and also that sexy morning voice of yours." Shayla cooed as she traced the infamous butterfly tattoo.
Harry peered down at Shayla, smirking before hoisting himself up so that Shayla was below him and he was above. She yelped at the sudden movement.
"You can't say things like and not expect me to keep my hands to myself." He murmured against her neck. Pressing small kisses there and on her collarbone.
"Mhm... but we are at your mum's house H. It's weird."
Harry stopped kissing and looked down at Shayla once again.
"You are such a tease!"
Shayla just nodded, smirking before pushing Harry away. She got up out of bed, grabbing her glasses from the nightstand and headed into the bathroom.
"Just keeping you on your toes." She called out as she placed her glasses onto her face.
Harry chuckled before getting out of bed himself and getting dressed.

"It's just so lovely to finally meet you properly Shayla." Anne chimed, both her and Shayla were sat at the table. A mug resting between their hands. Anne's mug had a photo of Harry from the Kiwi music video on it. Shayla chuckled when she saw it.
The cats were sat at both their feet. Purring and meowing occasionally. They took to Shayla pretty easily after a few head scratches and strokes. And a little bribery.
"You too. The famous Mama Twist. We all love your instagrams and tweets by the way." Shayla smiled. She'd followed Anne just as long as Harry. Way before she even knew either of them personally.
"Aww that's sweet of you to say. I know you were, sorry, are a big fan of Harry." Anne smirked and took a sip of her drink.
"Aren't most people these days? It was odd at first, when we worked together that first time. I was trying so hard to be cool but he saw right through me." Shayla thought back to that first meeting with Harry.
She'd been enlisted on a photo shoot but hadn't really been given any details as to who it was for or why. Sometimes this happens, if it's a high profile deal. The less people know the better.
However, when she got there she soon realised that this wasn't just any old photo shoot. She'd be working with Harry Styles. THE Harry Styles. The guy that she's adored (pun intended!) for the longest time.
"Yeah he told me about when you first met. I thought it was lovely. We all do silly things in front of those that we admire." Anne brought Shayla back from her thoughts.
"Agreed. I can definitely say I've done my fair share of silly things." They both laughed and continued chatting. Occasionally stopping to pet the cats below them.
Harry had gone out to quickly go to the shop to grab some bits and pieces, but insisted that Shayla stayed in and got to know his mum. Shayla had her doubts about staying while he wasn't there, but knew this was a big deal for Harry and wanted to get to know this side of him better.
Just as Anne and Shayla's conversation started to die down, Harry sauntered through the hall.
"Was it busy?" Anne asked. She'd finished off her drink and had taken it into the kitchen.
"Hardly anyone in there if I'm honest."
Shayla watched him as he kicked off his shoes and made his way into the dining room. He'd put on a purple jumper and paired it with some plain black flares.
His hair was pushed back from where he'd been running his hands through it. Shayla loved when he did that.
Shayla always tried to be subtle when she was staring at Harry. Even more so now that they were in his mother's house. But he always made it difficult.
He made his way over to the dining table, placed the bag he was carrying down and then plonked himself onto one of the chairs.
Harry cleared his throat, placed his elbow onto the table and then rested his chin against his hand.

"You're not subtle you know." he smirked.
"Sorry? You'll have to be more specific H." Shayla replied, trying to play it cool. She watched her fingers as they traced round the rim of the mug she was holding, which was practically empty at this point.
Neither of them said anything for a second. Harry just watched her. The way her lips pulled into a slight smirk as she waited for an answer. Which then caused her dimples to show a little. Harry never really liked his own dimples that much but he loved hers. In fact, he loved her... everything.
"I love you."
Silence.
Shayla shot her head up to look at him. Did he really just say that?
By the way he was looking at her, Shayla knew he was serious and needed to say it back.
"You need to say somet..."
"I love you!" Shayla interrupted.
Little did they know, Anne was watching the whole interaction from the doorway.
"I'm going to leave you both to it." she called. Her face was glowing with a beautiful smile. Knowing that her son was the happiest he had been in a while.
Harry and Shayla both laughed at that.
Shayla smiled again and made her way over to where he was sat. Pulling him up from the seat and wrapping her arms around him.
"Niall and Heather are gonna have a field day with this."
