The little cafe was quiet.
Shay and Harry rushed in to get out of the rain. It was just the two of them and the waitress. They'd forgotten to bring an umbrella with them whilst they waited for their car.
They were headed to dinner with Niall and Heather. All four of them being in the London once again and needing a proper catch up.
The Styles' had been back for a few days and had spoken to The Horans since being back but hadn't seen each other in person.
Sienna and Haley were with Gemma and Michal. Isla and Angus were with Niall's mum who was visiting for the week.
Harry sat at a table with a paper cup full of coffee. He'd somehow managed to take his wife's glasses, which were covered in rain spots, clean them off on his jumper and was now wearing them.
"Can you actually see out of those?" Shay chuckled as she stood by the table. Her own vision being blurry. She held out her hand for him to hand them over.
"I kind of can. Is that a bad?" He grimaced slightly at the thought of his eyesight being worse than normal as he took them off.
"I mean yeah when you wear yours so casually and not when you're supposed to!" Shay scolded him but in a teasing tone.
"I'll book in for a test."
"Please do." She chimed, sliding into the seat next to him.
He carefully lifted the frames up and onto Shay's face in a loving manner. Her eyes closed at the feeling of him being so close but also fears that he would poke her in the eyes.
"There. Much more like you." Harry hummed. Bringing his hands down the sides of her face.
"Thanks." Shay hummed, slowly opening her eyes.
"That coffee is gonna have you up all night. You're not sleeping well as it is H."
Harry looked down at the paper cup and back up to his wife.
"I know but there's no way I'm making it through this dinner without caffeine. I'll be asleep, head first in my main."
They both laughed at his joke but the worry was clear on both of their faces.
"I'm worried about you Gorgeous. I know you're stressing about everything but you're making the right decision for you." Shay reassured him.
Harry nodded slowly.
"It feels right deep down. I think once all the hysteria and media frenzy calms it'll get easier. It will. Won't it Peach?" He started intensely at Shay now. Needing some more reassurance.
"Of course it will." Shay did as he had just done to her. Lifting a hand and placing it on his cheek.
"It has to."
