When they entered Benji and Brit were talking about Brit's friends. He didn't even notice his whole team standing against one of the walls. "Hey Benj!" Tyler called waving at him, this caught Benji's attention,

"What are you guys doing here?" Benji asked shocked,

"Came to support you, duh!" Cal walked over followed by the rest of the team, but Rin standing awkwardly on the wall.

Benji stared at them still shocked, tears almost falling from his eyes. "Well then, how about we start walking?" Nurse Kate asked, Benji just nodded, he was speechless. Brit jumped up from her seat and her and his mom sat down in nearby chairs. Most of the team sat on nearby mats, Tyler, Tyson, Cal, and Even were standing near the bars. Benji wheeled over to the bars.

"Callahan will be able to catch you if you fall with this harness." Doctor Hanna motioned to Cal.

"Ok." Benji nodded in agreement,

"Imma gonna help you up, ok?" Tyson asked, Benji nodded, Tyson walked in front of Benji. Tyson put his hands under his armpits, and Benji gripped the two bars tightly. He struggled up almost falling 2 times but got up. "I'm going to be in front of you while Cal's gonna be behind you, mhmk?" he smiled at Benji. Benji was looking down at his feet, he just nodded, too concentrated to talk.

They were all ready. "Ok Benji, take your first step." Doctor Hanna smiled,

He took one step then another, then another. Gripping on the bar for dear life with each step. Benji didn't realize then but he was crying, tears pricked his shirt from his cheek."Holy shit Benji! You're doing it!" Tyson laughed, smiling ear from ear. After a few more steps Benji gave a shaky breath and fell into Tyson's arms, "I gotcha." Tyson sat on the ground with Benji in his lap out of breath and sweating,

"Wow! That's the most steps I've seen someone in your situation walk for the first time in my 20 year career." Nurse Kate clapped, Cal walked over and wheeled the wheelchair over to Benji and Tyson,

"Can you stand up Benji?" Cal asked sweetly, Benji shook his head no weakly,

"Understandable." Tyson smiled.

"Oh my god Benji! I haven't seen you work that hard since the semi championships first year!" Even clapped,

"Oh shut up." Benji gave a weak smile, Even just smiled brightly back.

They helped Benji back in the chair receiving a tired grunt from Benji. Sometime during this Braden and Sam left, as everyone was relaxing, Benji chugging a water bottle. The two boys burst through the door with McDonalds and DQ ice cream, "Oh heck ya!" Benji screamed like a child.

"I got the usual after game food, I hope that's ok." Braden said shyly,

"It's perfect Brad!" Tyley smiled. Everyone sorted through the food to find what they wanted like racoons looking through garbage. Benji had a cheeseburger with a cookie dough ice cream, he shared his fries with Brit and let her have a few bits of cheese burger, but no ice cream.

"Thanks guys, today was great!" Benji said through a mouthful of fries, everyone laughed and smiled even Rin. (Which was rare btw)
