Shattered

Driving back home, everyone had a giant smile on their faces. When they reached home, they got out of the car, Brit literally skipping to the door. Benji and Cal's hand never left each other once.

Mary unlocked the door, she randomly made Benji go in first. Strangely the living room light was off, it was always on. Benji finally found the light switch and turned them on.

The whole team was there, a huge banner was hung up, it read 'Congrats Benji!'. Everyone had a party hat on and everyone had a blowout in their mouths. Mary walked over and put a party hat on Benji.

"I'm so proud of you Benji!" she kissed him on the cheek. Everyone cheered, Benni went around and hugged everyone. Rin was awkwardly standing on the side, like at the hospital. When Benji made his way to Rin, he didn't hesitate to hug him.

"I'm not mad, promise," he said quietly for only him to hear. Rin smiled and hugged him back. Yes, Benji told him over text that he wasn't mad but hearing it in person was more reinsurance.

They all partied hard. Eating cake and ice cream, drinking so much pop. They took selfies, even a group photo, of course, Brit had to be in it. They also blasted music to dance to. It was loud but not too loud to disturb the neighbors.

They all partied until like 12 in the morning. Everyone slowly left, still with a giant grin on their faces. Brit fell asleep even before her head hit the pillow. Since it was so late Cal just stayed over.

Benji put on one of Cal's sweatshirts that he stole. It was really big on him, going down just below the knees (well only one but... anyways). He didn't bother putting on pants he just left his boxers on. That night Benji had one of the best sleep he had in a while, with Benji snuggled into Cal's chest. The only thing he had to worry about was the basketball championships coming up next month, and Benji was playing.
