Stefan stood holding Jason as he fed him as his wife was wrapping a gift. "Baby?"

"Today is Caroline's birthday." She stated. "She's the only one at this point that I can trust."

Stefan walked over to her and kissed her head. "Okay. You take her gift and have a good day with her..."

"I'm not staying the whole time..."

"Baby, go enjoy Caroline's birthday with her. If something happens, call me and I will be there with Jason in a heartbeat."

Alaina smiled as she walked over and kissed her husband. Stefan smiled as he held her close. Pulling back, they shared a look causing Stefan to think how lucky he got in life. He has a son and is married to the love of his life/best friend. His just waiting for her to figure out when to turn her.

Caroline told Alaina everything and was happy with her best friend's idea. A funeral. Something that will make Caroline happy. She's been hurting since Tyler is sired to Klaus and he does everything Klaus tells him to do. "Alaina, thank you for letting us help."

"I lost my mom because of you and Klaus, but I'm trying to go back to how things were. For mom." She says. "I thought this could be it for Caroline. Let her know that her life isn't truly over and that Tyler will come back soon."

"She still has us." Matt states.

"She does. She still has us, Stefan and her godson Jason." She sighed. "Wished we can get Taylor back to his old self so he can meet his cousin."

"And we will." Elena tells her. "I miss him and I want him back."

Alaina smiled as she heard her friend. They all turned and smiled as Caroline was in shock. "Surprise." Alaina says. "I did this for you. A funeral to the old you and a birthday party to the new you." The blonde couldn't believe what she was hearing. We will miss the old you, but...you have to admit it. This new vampire you is way more fun than the old human Caroline."

"You think?"

"How did you get Tyler?" Alaina stated.

Caroline laughed as things were going good. She sat down as Matt and Elena said what they wanted to say. Alaina smiled as her plan worked. Now to plan a way to get Tyler and Taylor from being under Klaus' control.

Stefan smiled as he watched his big brother with his son. "He looks like you, Stefan."

"I know." He replies as he sat down. "Taylor isn't allowed to be around him till something is done. Klaus is going to make a point to him, but knowing Taylor, he will do something that will make him regret it."

Damon shrugged as he heard the phone ringing. "Stefan's phone." Damon answered.

"We need Stefan."

"What's wrong? Is my sister in law okay?"

"Tyler bit her and she's dying."

Damon dropped the phone as he held onto his nephew tight. Stefan nodded as they left. He knew exactly where she went. "I know where my wife is."

"Let's go."

"It's going to be okay."

"I know." Alaina tells her. "Stefan gave me blood before coming here." She had a tear slide down her cheek. "He doesn't know the full story of Mason and Klaus will be pissed."

"Don't talk, Alaina." Elena says as she was in tears as Stefan came in. "Stefan is here."

Stefan got beside his wife. "I'm here, baby." She smiled as she was fading. "I gave her blood this morning, but I will make sure she turns."

Alaina closed her eyes as she had passed from the loss of blood. Stefan's blood started to turn her as he added more. Anything for his wife. Leaving without a word, Matt looked at Elena. "Is she..."

"Yes. Alaina Salvatore will be just like them."

Bonnie told Stefan that she will be over to make a ring for Alaina. He stood in the room with Damon as Jason slept in the crib beside their bed. "Well, little brother. You have the life you wanted."

"She will be mine forever." He tells him as she gasped awake. "Hey, baby."

Alaina looked at them and knew. She was dead. She was now a vampire like her husband. She ran to him and hugged him as Damon smiled. "Get her fed. I'll stay with Jason."

"Baby, let's get you fed."

"Okay. We'll be back."

"I know."

Watching them leave, Damon sat down in the chair smiling. His sister in law was like them now. Now to get Taylor back.
