Celestine's POV.

Malakas na itinaktak ko ang sandok sa kawali. Napahawak ako sa noo ko habang iniisip kung ano ba ang nakalimutan kong ilagay na ingredient.

"I really can't do this," bulong ko sa sarili bago nilabas ang phone ko.

I opened up YouTube to search for the recipe.

Kaldereta lang ang lulutuin ko, hindi ko pa magawa.

I was watching the video at nawala sa isip ko ang niluluto ko na malakas ang apoy.

"Oh my gosh, sht," sabi ko as I immediately turn off the stove.

Sobrang sama ng tingin ko sa sunog na beef sa harap ko. I am not born to be in the kitchen, sa operating room talaga ako nababagay.

Nakasimangot akong naglakad papuntang sala ko kung nasaan si Stephen, he was busy watching a series on my TV.

"Bub, I burned it." Nakasimangot kong sabi sa kanya.

Nilingon ako nito.

"Again?" he asked na para bang napakadalas kong gawin iyon, well, totoo naman, I cannot even cook a proper sunny side-up!

"Don't look at me like that, I already feel bad for the beef."

"Come here," he told me as he tap the space beside him. I sat down there and loooked at him. "I told you, it is okay, hindi mo kailangang magluto for today."

"But it is our anniversary, second year anniversary natin and here I am stuck on being useless in the kitchen, I cannot even cook a decent meal for you."

"Bubby, okay lang, ano ka ba, it is okay really, I am just glad na magkasama tayo today."

"You can't marry me at this state, I might end up burning the house or poisoning the kids."

"Hmm." Isinandal nito ang likod ko sa kanya. "Celestine, it is okay, it doesn't matter if you can cook or not, hindi 'yon ang basehan, I will marry you dahil gusto kong makasama ka hanggang pagtanda, I will marry you when you're ready."

I looked at him and squeezed his face using my two hands.

"My Man." I kissed him. "Sinave ko siguro ang bansa last life ko for me to blessed with you."

"Let's just watch this," he told me, humiga na lang ako sa lap niya, he started playing with my hair.

"What are you watching?" I asked him.

"Lupin, it is a series, kakasimula ko pa lang, let's watch it together, magpahinga ka na muna dyan, I'll order pizza for us."

I just nodded and focused my attention to the screen.

Lupin is superb, I really like it. Hindi ko halos napansin ang oras, nagulat pa ako nung may nag doorbell.

Stephen stood up and opened the door, I assumed it is the pizza guy. Medyo natagalan pa siya kaya pagbalik niya ay nagulat ako ng may dala itong cake at pizza.

Nilapag niya ito sa center table and I looked like a kid, na sobrang saya dahil doon.

Iniangat niya ang cake sa pagitan naming dalawa, may candles doon.

"Now let's make a wish," sabi nito, I closed my eyes.

I pray that you ask for my hand this year, I just feel like I am so ready to settle down as long as it is with him.

Halos sabay kaming dumilat.

We blew the candle.

He kissed me first.
