Stephen's POV.

"You have to calm down Cath, we have to think this thoroughly, kapag sinabi natin agad ito kay Mr. Montenegro, it will be a big scandal, he won't stop for his daughter," Abraham said.

I was walking back and forth.

"I know, kaya nga dapat na nating sabihin!" Cath looks so stressed now.

I couldn't even sleep, she was gone for more than 24 hours now, hindi ko alam anong magagawa ko kung magulang ko ang may pakana nito.

I sat down. I will have to tell Tito Thunder about this, kahit pa naghiwalay kami ni Celestine, I should've done my best to protect her.

Hindi ko na sana siya hinayaang umalis pa, I should have begged her to stay with me that day, kahit no'ng araw lang na yun.

I felt my phone vibrating.

Ni hindi ko nagawang tingnan kung sino ang tumatawag doon.

"Hello." I answered, naramdaman ko ang paglapit ni Cath at Abraham sa 'kin.

"Captain, how are you?"

The guy is speaking in spanish. I immediately knew he is part of the rebellious group.

"Do you have her?" I asked nervously.

"Who?"

"Answer me?!"

"Ah, your brat little girlfriend?"

"Where are you?! Where is she?! Let me talk to her!"

"Demanding as ever, your girlfriend takes after you."

"She..." Napalunok ako. "...she has nothing to do with me anymore, it will be nonsense for you to take her!"

"Really? You want to believe that after your reaction? We just need you, we heard your a vital part of the army, so we just want you in exchange for your girlfriend's life."

He didn't let me finish, he was so sure that he got me hooked up.

"Captain." Abraham called.

"No, you can't. I can take care of this!"

"How can you say that Stephen! Hindi lang buhay mo ang nakasalalay rito, buhay din ni Ms. Celestine!"

"Sa tingin mo ba hahayaan ko siyang mamamatay?!"

Cath looked at me with so much pain.

"Just please bring her back."

"Babalik ko siya rito," I told her. "I will go first, you can tell Jose and the team to wait for my call."

They texted me like a pick up point. In less than an hour, I was able to go there.

Pero lumipas ang kalahating oras pero wala pa ring dumarating para sunduin ako.

Habang tumatagal ang oras ay mas tumitindi ang kaba ko. The number that called me won't answer the goddamn call.

Napapalibutan ako ng masukal na kagubatan. Hindi ko alam kung saan magsisimulang hanapin sya.

Nakarinig ako ng mga yapak na papalapit sa 'kin.

They're here, hinanda ko ang sarili ko.

Pero laking gulat ko na imbis na mga armadong lalaki ang lumabas doon.

Celestine walked out of that forrest.

"Celestine!," I called her.

Mabilis siyang nag angat ng tingin sa 'kin, I immediately ran to her.
