Why? (Depressed Eren X Captain Levi)

**Eren**

I promised Captain Levi that I'll come home to him but that doesn't mean I won't stop my cutting. I've been released from recovery, no one has been talking about my situation which makes it so much better.

I'm heading to Captive Levi's office cause he called me in, I put on my mask but a better one. Well I think it's a better one..

I knocked on Captain Levi's door, "name and business." I heard coming from inside, guessing that's Captain. "Eren Ye-" I got cut off by Captain pulling me in his office, I'm confused?

I turned my head towards Captain, he was locking the door? So, he's gonna kill me? Welp! KILL ME! I- sorry, just ignore that. I scanned the room to see Commander and Hanji-san. "COMMANDER?!" I said in shock as I saluted, "No need Eren." He reassured, I gave a quick nod and looked over to Hanji. I gave her my best 'smile', she looked at me in 'awed', huh? I thought my mask was on?

"May I ask why I am here?" I question, Captain walked towards Commander and Hanji. He sat down and pointed to the seat in front of him. I went and sat down, what is this about? "Eren" Captain began to talk, he's been using my first name a lot and it scares me to death. Death doesn't even scare me! "I've asked you here to talk about your mental heath" anger hit me, the fuck! "What do you mean by 'mental health'!?" I somewhat yelled, he can kick all he wants, that isn't gonna do jack shit! "You've been cutting and who else no's what." Captain said lowering his tone.

"SO WHAT!?" I yelled furiously, I got up from my seat. Everyone in the room was shocked. "Eren.." Hanji said my name, she is the only person here that I care about.I mean I want all of them to live but... I want them to live without me. Including Hanji. Hanji walks over to me and takes my wrist that has my scars... And maybe some new cuts..."We just wanna know why?" She said reassuring, rubbing my scars with her thumb. I saw her eyes widen as I felt her touch my open wound. MOTHER FUCKER!

I pulled my wrist from Hanji's grip, Captain and Erwin were confused until they saw Hanji's thumb, covered in my blood. "Er-en..." Hanji looked up at me, tears in her eyes. I'm hurting her.. I guess I can remove my mask and tell them why. I can then leave and punish myself!

I took in a deep breath before talking, "I'm so very sorry, I will tell you everything and leave to punish myself." I let my mask fall. This is me! A broken, selfish, ugly, disgusting titan! "EREN!" I looked up at them, not in shock. "That's my name." I looked up at Hanji, "Eren.. We called you here to get you help!"

"I don't need help! I'm fine!" I yelled once again, Captain looked at me and I was ready for a slap.. But I felt nothing. "Captain aren't you gonna hit me?" Captain's eyes widened. I'm not getting any of this.

I let out a sigh, "I will be heading off now." I turned to the door, I took one step until Hanji and Commander ran outside the door and locked it.. from the outside.

"No. We're gonna talk." Captain said as he poured himself some tea. "Captain, I already promised you that I'll come back home to you so I won't die on missions but maybe by my own hands. I reassure you that you have nothing to worry about." all I'm saying is completely honest. "Eren, please sit" Woah, woah, woah! What world did I walk in to hear Captain say 'PleAsE'
I sat back at the seat I was in before, Captain took out a clipboard with some type of worksheet "Tell me when It started." That's an easy question! "It's been two weeks!" I said, slipping my mask back on slowly "Two weeks?" Captain repeated my answer

"Yeah, that's what I said!" I said in somewhat excitement, Captain's eyes awed as he saw through my mask. Well this isn't going as planned, "And.. why?" Captain hesitated. Like he didn't wanna know why, "Where should I start?" I said jokingly, "Mmmm...OH!! When the squad said I was a monster, a thing, a weapon, mmmmm Oh! I'm also very ugly, fat and useless!" I said ending it with a giggle, Captain didn't seem to laugh, I mean he never does. "Why aren't you laughing?" I said booingly, (I know that isn't a word but just go with it XD) "Cause it isn't funny" Is he mad?

Eren's more broken than I thought...
He doesn't even think of himself as human..
He's so young too, Eren makes fun of himselfs and self harms to make himself feel better..

I asked more questions as I wrote down everything, we've been at this for an hour and a half. Each answer gets worse and worse.. This kid has been fighting his whole life and when started to beat it, it comes back stronger.. It's killing him and he's letting it happen..

"Eren before you leave" I said stopping Eren from leaving, he looked at me as he began to head out. "We are gonna do a search in your room" He looked angry, Eren stomped towards me. "Levi, I know you people wanna help but taking something that makes me happy isn't gonna work!" I would usually beat the shit out of him for using my first name and yelling at me but right now, that's all he wants so I couldn't.

"And you won't be in your room either way, you are under survancy for your own good." I informed Eren, "Seriously!? For my own good?! I'm not some fucking child!" Eren eyes only showed anger and sadness, I knew this wasn't gonna be easy.

I let out a sigh before speaking, "Your gonna stay here with me, Hanji and Erwin are gonna bring the things you need" Did I use the right words? "What I need is to be alone and my shard of gla-" Eren shut himself, accidentally letting out some information. His.. gla.. What gla?

Glass! That day he broke the glass cup, he must have gotten a shard.. And... I was there.. That's why he didn't pull up a fight. Guilt hit like a titan stepping on me.

"You know what, do what you want. It won't change a single thing." He somehow went calm, he walked over to the couch I had in my office. "Don't mind me! Just getting comfy." What is his plan...?
