Why? (Depressed Eren X Captain Levi)

**Third Person**

Levi's scream brought the attention to the man sleeping next to him, Eren groaned as he was getting irritated. "Captain.. Why are you yelling..?" Eren muttered as he slowly sat up, his hair all ruffled and his mouth having a bit of drool pouring out, which he of course wiped off.

Hanji immediately noticed Eren's appearance, she looked back and forth between Eren and Levi. She cupped her hands in a ball and her eye's showed a sparkling light of delitness.

Both males had no clue on what was wrong with the lady in glasses but they both knew that they were too tired for this and wanted to go back to sleep, very soon.

"Hanji leave so we can get dressed.." Levi said as he let out a sigh, he himself never expected himself to be this drained of energy before today.

"Alright! I'll excuse myself, lovebird!" Hanji said with a teasing tone

At the moment Levi finally understood why she had acted that way when she had barged in.. He was cuddling with the man he should be watching over..

On Levi's face appeared a small tint of blush from the embarrassing encounter, Levi quickly walked to the bathroom and slammed the door, causing the other male, who had still been in bed to jump.

Eren slowly got out of bed, feeling a bit better after sleeping for the first time in a while. He stood at the edge of the cot and stood there for a bit before stretching his muscles.

Both males walked down to the training field, one male felt slightly embarrassed and flustered while the other was just tired and somewhat refreshed.

Sadly both males had to skip out on breakfast but the taller male didn't care in the slightest, he had never craved anything or grew an appetite.

When they arrived at the training field, all eyes were laid on them. Everyone had some questions wondering why they had been so late, especially their beloved Captain who hates and despises tardiness.

Both male went directly to work, Captain directing orders and Eren in his fight stances, he was fighting against Eld Jinn, who was second in command of the Levi squad. Levi walked around everyone, making sure everyone was in position.

Levi's eyes scattered and landed on a particular duo, his youngest member and his second hand man. This was a fight he didn't wanna miss.

Levi blew the signal to start the training, his eyes never left Eren. Levi wanted to see how much he had improved since they had first met, Levi's eyes traced Erens posture, the way his hands were clasped into a fist, and the way his eyes glared back into his partner's eyes.

While Eren felt a pair of eyes burn into his back, he began to get irritated as he dogged most of Eld attacks. Eren turned his head to whoever was staring at him, his eyes made contact with the shorter male who stood.

Eren was quickly turned away from the shorter male cause by a fist that punched his lower jaw, Eren was stunned. Eren had forgotten he was in a match between Eld, "Eyes here, little man" Eld said as he put a hand out for Eren. Eren took the helpful hand of his comrade, "Yeah sorry about that, just got distracted.." Eren said as he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.

"Happens to the best of us, don't worry about it!" Eld said as he threw his arm around Eren, shoving him into a headlock. Eren laughed as Eld ruffed his hair, Eren was delighted he didn't get scolded for messing up or getting distracted, totally forgetting why he got distracted in the first place

Levi saw the laughing moment between Eld and Eren, he undid his hands and put them to his side. Levi's hand clenched into a tight fist. We walked over to the duo and let out an order. "You guys are excused" Levi said as he gave Eld an glare, Eld quickly let go of Eren and ran towards his other comrades while Eren walked towards Hanji.

Levi realized what he had just done and was confused on why he had done that, he didn't intend to ruin the mood he didn't enjoy Eld getting all touchy with his Eren...

Levi walked away and clenched his fist over his heart, gripping his shirt as his heart began to ache, 'What is this feeling?' Levi thought as he tried to control rapid heartbeat.

Levi filled out the remaining of the paperwork, Levi's mind wandered as he left his feather pen on the piece of paper. 'Why did I admire his figure so much..?' Levi thought as his heart began to beat fast once again, he let go of his pen and grabbed his shirt.

Clenching it into his shirt that hovered over his heart, Levi had no idea what was happening. He never felt this odd before...
