Why? (Depressed Eren X Captain Levi)

Chapter 11

"The Late Night Visit"

**Third Person**

A few days have passed since Eren was released from the hospital, all his wounds have been healed. Levi and Hanji didn't want Eren to feel like a burden, so they gave him some space before starting his treatment.

To Levi's surprise, Eren didn't instantly become his happy self, even though he thought he's words would have worked.

Eren was still questioning about life and things like that, Eren still had his horrible ideas and thoughts. Of course, Eren had around the clock supervision. Eren's eyes still washed out of color, after his attempts.

Eren's eyes became less of color, sometimes they'll glow like ever before and it'll be the most gorgeous thing you've seen all day or his eyes will be drawn out and that'll be the thing to ruin your day. Even though Levi told him how he saw him, it still hurt him deep inside.

Eren's mind is filled with hate and rage for many things, he'll spend his night doing a new routine. Working out until he could see the sunrise peeking through his metal bar windows and then sit around waiting for someone to unlock his cage-like room.

Eren still refuses to eat but of course gets forced to eat at least two or more food on his plate. Though, the lack of eating and sleeping hardly affects eren. He is still in good shape, it makes you wonder what they are feeding him to make him look so unaffected.

**Eren**

It sucks being on suicide watch, I can never be alone. Every sharp object taken away from me, and being forced to eat. I can at least stay in my cage until the higher ups are ready for me to be treated, mentally.

Right now, currently. I'm laying on my cot, spreading my whole body on it. My back hurts...

It's been 5 days, 120 hours, 7,200 minutes since I've been released from the hospital. I wonder if they'll even give me treatment, I mean.. They can't just focus on one titan teenager.

I roll over to my side, looking at the small metal bar window wondering what time it is. I don't even get a clock! This sucks, I wish I could leave this cage like I did when I was a kid. Being able to open and close this gate whenever I like.

Getting annoyed over the amount pain my body's feeling, I get up from my cot and walk over to sink. I splash my face with some cold water, I look in my reflection through the dirty yet clear water.

I've gotten uglier with these eye bags forming under my eyes. Letting out a sigh as I drain the water. "What's up with you?"

I turned my head as I met the voice that came from behind the bars. It was the Captain, of course. He doesn't sleep either.

"Nothing..." I mumbled as I stepped away from the sink, "Why this late night visit?" I questioned

"Couldn't sleep and I knew you wouldn't be asleep 'ither" Captain said as he pulled up a chair and sat on it, crossing one leg over the other.

Captain and I sat in silence for a while before Captain spoke up, "Oi, Yeager. You look like shit" I sighed in response, "Yeah, I know.." I said as I went over to lean on my cot's railings.

Captain sat up from the chair he was in and walked over to the gate, he dug in his pockets for a while before pulling out the keys to my gate. I tilt my head in confusion. Captain stepped in and dragged my body to my cot and laid me down.

I gave a confused and yet concerned look, Captain took one look and scoffed me off. "Lay down properly brat." Captain said somewhat annoyedly, I then laid my body down completely flat on my cot. Captain graved my covers and dragged it over me.

"I'm not a little kid.." I said as he let out a small chuckle, "But you sure act like one" Captain then walked out my cage to grab the seat he was in earlier and dragged it inside my cage.

"What are you doing sir?" I questioned, "I'm not doing anything, you are going to sleep." I rolled my eyes in annoyance, I can't sleep and I choose not to sleep.

I let my eyes leave the captain's view and went to the broken down ceiling. After a while the captain let out a scoff, confused at what I turned my attention back to the Captain who was getting up from his seat.

Captain lifted my cover and made his small body onto my cot, in an udderly confusement i question; "Captain what are you doing?"
Captain continued to get comfortable before answering, "I need sleep to dipshit and I don't have any fucking energy to walk up those shitty as stairs so deal with it for tonight"

I know me and Captain slept in the same room but we have never slept in the same bed. I don't mind, to be completely honest. It feels nice and warm, do short people naturally have warm body's? Or is it just Captain..?

"Oi! Are you good?" I snapped out of my thoughts and was brought back to reality, "Yeah.. I'm fine, goodnight sir." I said as I felt more tired than ever before.

Captain fell asleep before me, I can't blame him. This bed does feel comfy now that he's here.. I wrapped my arms around the small man to absorb more of the warmth, Captain then turned and faced me. Scared shit less thinking he was up, I looked at his face to see him still asleep.

Captain snuggled into my chest as I continued to warm my arms around him. Beginning to feel tired I shut my eyes and entered the unknown slumber called dreams.
