Why? (Depressed Eren X Captain Levi)

**Hanji**

Eren looked quite confused on what Levi was talking about, Levi, Erwin and I agreed on how we will keep Eren from self harming or to attempt of suicide.

"Eren, you will again share a room with Levi and you will talk to him weekly about how you feel and If you ever feel like hurting yourself. Levi has his own agenda on how he will help you improve your mental health." I stated as Levi reached over for something on his desk, he pulled out a small journal with a feather pen.

Levi handed the journal to my baby titan and explained what to do with it, "I want you to write down your feelings and why you feel like, on every new session I want you to tell me what you wrote down, okay" Eren gripped down on the journal that Levi had handed him.

Eren finally looked away from the journal and placed it on his lap, "Is that all?" He questioned. Levi and I exchanged glances and gave a nod. Eren got up and out of his seat with the journal in his hands, "thank you" Levi and I looked up at Eren who had just left, I was filled with joy. He's still filled with surprises.

*Third Person*

Eren wandered the empty and quiet halls, he was heading towards his cell to grab his essentials. To his surprise, the Levi squad was already there, clearing everything out. "Uhh, what are you guys doing?" Eren questioned, shocking everyone that was in the room.

They all shared glares and then began to laugh historically, Eren still confused as ever. Petra was the first to stop laughing, she approached Eren and began to answer his question. "Well, we all feel bad for being one of the main reasons to cause your cutting so, we decided to help you and to also get to know you!" Petra was really happy and so were the others.

But, Eren could see their guilt. Eren let out a small closed eye smile and thanked them all. Eren went in and helped.

The dungeon filled up with laughter and conversations. Eren felt happier than ever. Being able to communicate with his fellow comrades,  Eren hasn't felt this much joy in years.

The Levi squad helps Eren add all of his belongings in their beloved Captain Levi's room, making it feel more like home and at ease. They all finished rearranging the room and left, they all said their farewells to the young boy. Eren stood there in silence as the door shut in front of him, reality hit him.

Eren must once again stay in the same room as his Captain. How is he supposed to act when the occurring memory of the Captain climbing into his cot.

This was going to be a bit of trouble if that incident occurs again.

"Oi, Yeager." Eren looked up from the floor to see a short yet strong man leaning on the door frame. Eren stood up straight and put his right hand over his heart, "Yessir?" Eren questioned in a frantic voice.

Levi sighed as he released he had once again scared the younger male and yet made him chuckle in a weird way. "We need your help with something, come on." The Captain said in advance. Eren stood there confused but then heard the Captain yell his name from down the hall. Making Eren pickup the fallen pieces and run towards the captain.

**Levi**

Eren ran towards me as I headed to Erwin's office. It was now time to see who was fit to join us, we have 22 who graduated from the 104th training squad. We wanted Eren's opinion on who is best to join and lessen the number of fatal casualties. Since Eren being in the top 10 makes it easier for us, we won't have to protect him every time we head into battle.

Though you might think this is a lot of pressure on Eren but how we see it is that Eren knows these people and it'll be easy to make a decision, it'll be a break from all of these new changes and stress.

I stopped right in front of Erwin's door and waited for Eren to catch up. Eren sooned arrived and looked a bit dazed or confused..? "Why are we at Commander Erwin's office..? I'm not in trouble right?!" Eren frantically said, I chuckled in amusement. Maybe I won't kill him.

"No brat, you're not in trouble." I said before knocked on Erwin's door. Eren and I both heard a muffled 'come in' from the other side of the door, I opened the door and there sat Erwin and an Idiot in glasses. "I'm in trouble aren't I?" Eren said, once again...

I turned my head to Eren and began to glare at him, 'how stupid is he!? Ima kill him before he kills himself' I thought as I sighed in annoyance.

"Once again, you aren't in trouble." I huffed as I heard muffled laughter coming from Erwin and Hanji. How childish can they be...

I pulled out a chair for myself, putting one leg over the other, making them cross. While Eren was still at the doorway, well until Hanji sprung out of her seat and ran up to Eren. Dragging Eren all the way back to her seat but instead of sitting down again, she reached over to a small table next to her seat.

She pulled out the files of the applicants that already wanted to join, she handed him the files as Eren weirdly accepted them. "What exactly are these? Eren questioned and also looked quite cu-..

You heard nothing.

Clearing my throat before I answered, "Those are the graduates that want to join, since you know them personally we want you to tell us who is fit to join."

Eren held up the papers closer to read, he scanned the applicant's files and then handed them back. "They all very well fit!" Eren said in an exciting tone of voice.

Made me quite concerned about who is excited to see...

Eren gave a salute to everyone before dashing out the room, Hanji gave a small smile as she saw how happy Eren was again. "OH! I dropped a file.." Hanji said as she grabbed the paper off the disgusting-of-a-floor.

"What's the applicant's name?" Erwin said in curiosity, "Jean... K-Kirstein?" Hanji readout. "Four eyes... You're an idiot." I said as I began to leave but stopped to hear what they will say.

"Eren didn't check him out so we are not sure if we can allow him to join." Erwin said as he began to balance his choice, "HE'S EREN'S CLASSMATE! HE HAS TO JOIN!" Hanji yelled in excitement and yet pleaded.

"I'm leaving this up to you, I need to go with Eren." I said as I began to walk out. I don't even need to look behind to feel their grinning faces.
