"Ow," Maverick hissed.

Mom just looked up at him and rolled her eyes. She babied him for the first few minutes we were home but once he took a shower he had to get his shoulder wrapped again before we went to bed, "Alright... Is it too tight?" She asked.

Maverick shook his head, "No it's fine."

"Okay don't forget to take your medicine," Mom popped one pill into her hand before giving it over to Maverick but She didn't put the bottle back on the counter instead took it to her room with her.

I watched Maverick struggle from across the room trying to open the water bottle, "Hey Mavi," I took it from him.

He sighed defeated, "This sucks," He muttered, "I can't even open a water bottle, my hair is still soaking wet, I can't do anything."

I grabbed the towel from the door, "Here," I quickly rubbed the town against his head making his hair all sticky up and go everywhere.

"I look a bad 2000's, band member."

I tossed the towel over his head, "Oh yeah that totally worked Kova, thanks," He mocked. He tossed it aside before laying down.

Mom walked into the room pulling blankets up for Maverick, "Night bud," She told him with a smile. She leaned down kissing my forehead before fitting my blanket, "Night baby," A little grin formed on my face with a sudden rush of happiness. She just smiled back before turning the lamp off.

"Alright Kova, and how'd the game go?"

"Uh... Surprisingly well, we won. One of their players broke my brother's collarbone."

"So I heard... and a little birdy told me that you responded hostilely."

"Yeah..." I sighed.

"Well... there not much to say about it. Someone hurt someone you love and you responded. That's a completely normal response to the situation," My therapist straightened up in her chair, "What I'm worried about is the physical connection."

"Uh, that too is going surprisingly well. I hugged both my parents and my brothers, my boyfriend. Everything seems okay."

"Seems? Are you questioning that yourself?"

"Things are just so uncertain right now. I don't wanna sound overconfident."

As I finished up my session I walked out the door behind her as her next patient waited outside the door, "Hunter," She smiled and I looked to see the familiar face put the magazine down.

"Hunter?" I asked confused.

"What're you doing here?"

"Going to therapy," I answered like it was obvious, "What about you?"

"Same thing. Hey, I gotta go but I'll see around alright?" Hunter pushed past me.

I walked to my car seeing the sun out high and bright. It was warm and people talked and walked past the building crowing the streets. It was a wonderful Saturday.

A burst of energy made me smile running into the house, "Kova?" My dad said confused just barely waking up with a cup of coffee in his hand, "What're you doing?"

"Can we go surfing?"

"I... Kova," My dad looked outside seeing the sun, "I don't wanna drive to Forks right now baby."

"We don't have to, we can to Ocean Shores."

"Kova... I'm not driving all the way to Ocean Shores."
