"Did they say anything else?"
"No, just that he's made his decision..."
"What the hell does that mean?"
"Finn I don't know!"
"Hold on calm down we'll find Maverick. Come on we've watched enough movies to figure this out."
"Movies? Really Finn? Horrible joke timing."
"Kova, if we can't tell our parent who by the way can actually help find Maverick then how the hell are we gonna find him..."
"James?"
"James... like James, James?"
"He still runs with the gang," Finn put his seatbelt on.
"Alright let's go then."
I pulled up to the big house a few cars parked outside and I, unfortunately, went ahead with my plan and knocked, "Can't believe we're here," Finn muttered.
James opened the door and then a small grin pulled upon his face, "Well... Gotta admit this is not what I was expecting tonight."
"Where's Maverick, James?"
"Why would I know?"
"Stop fucking around James, I know you run with that gang... and right now that gang has him."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
I could see a few boys standing behind him watching intently, "I'll ask one more time. Where are they keeping Maverick?"
"I'll say it one more time, I don't know what you're talking about."
He started closing the door but Finn shoved his arm out stopping it. He grabbed James by the shirt pulling him out of the house and throwing him on the ground kneeling on his ribs holding his hands back, "See I was taught how to take someone to the ground by my parents, but I don't have to show the restraint they do... especially with you James, Now where is Maverick?"
James licked his lips laughing, "You think I know where they keep people? Ironically only maverick knew that!"
"You need to help us find him."
"Maverick and I aren't even friends anymore."
"But the friendship before... Did that mean nothing?" I asked.
James didn't say anything, "James!" I screamed at him, "My brother is missing okay?! Whatever problems we had in the past, forget em... I just need to find Mavi!" James contained his silence, "Come on Finn."
I started walking back towards the mustang, "Chambers Bay!" James yelled back.
I turned around, "What about it?"
He rubbed his wrist looking at them then back at me sighing, "When we went with them, there was a shack on the golf course... that's where they do anything... but after that, I don't know what they did with them."
I stood there for a moment, "Thanks, James."
He nodded walking back inside, "To Tacoma!" Finn pointed.
I rolled my eyes going cross the bridge. I knew the golf course quite well actually. I had gone to the US open when they had back in 2015 with Finn and his parents.
I rapidly was tapping my thumb on the gear shift. It hadn't even hit me yet that... Maverick could be dead...
"Would that be it?" Finn pointed to a maintenance shed behind some trees on the side of the course.
