"PROM IS NEXT WEEK! A girl shouted at the front of the cafeteria holding the microphone, "Make sure you have your tickets bought by Thursday of next week."

"This bitch again," Finn muttered.

"Hey how're things with you and Kip?" I asked him sitting at the table.

"Who's Kip?" Asher asked.

"Just some guy I met," Finn rolled his eyes, "Not my type."

"Oh..." Asher said quietly.

"AY!" Abel grinned tapping his lacrosse stick on the table, "Guess what today is boys... and Kova?!"

"Uh, Monday...?" Denny said confused.

"Dude it's our first day back at practice," He snarked, "And an exhibition game this Friday against- Drumroll, please," We all tapped the table, "Charles Wright!"

My eyes widened as I looked over at Maverick. He closed his textbook and sighed but didn't say anything, "What?" Abel said looking at us. Everyone else knew James was apart of the team too.

"We'll tell you later," Maverick nodded.

"Um alright."

When practice rolled around my mood was actually happier. I was happy to be back on the field, "Alright ladies!" Coach yelled, "You all got fat, so let's start with some running."

"And ya killed the vibe," I muttered.

After twenty minutes of running around the coach finally let us start practicing "You gonna be okay with Friday's game?" Asher asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Cause James plays for Charles Wright."

"It'll be fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

Walking down from practice I noticed Finn's car still in the lot. He was on the phone with someone and looked annoyed and stressed, "Finn," I said coming to the window just moments after he hung the phone up, "You okay?"

"No," He shook his head sighing heavily.

"What's going on?"

Finn pulled out his phone showing it to me. A short but aggressive text message from Kip, "No, you have a horrible personality! Damn. And you refused to even kiss me... We're not kids anymore. But clearly only one of us knows how to be an adult!"

I looked at Finn handing the phone back, "Was that him on the phone?"

"Yeah. What was he saying?"

"Doesn't matter- I'm gonna go home Kov."

I didn't get a say in the matter and just let him go.

"He alright?" Asher asked when I walked back to our cars.

"No not really."

"What's going on?"

"The guy he was seeing... Kip? Yeah turns out he worse of a person than we all thought."

"Kip... what the hell kinda name is Kip?"

"Well, it's Kipton actually, Not much better."

"Stupid."

I sat home for about 20 minutes tapping my pencil on my homework with my mind running. I knew if something like that happened to me Finn would be bothering me non stop to make sure I was alright and lately I'd been so wrapped up in Jax I kinda neglected Finn, "Dad I'm going to Finn's."
