Chapter 1: Transferring

I don't know what's with me but I feel so awkward standing in a waiting shed. Galing akong probinsya nang Capiz at hindi ko alam ang kung anong meron rito sa Maynila kaya siguro, tatahimik na lang ako. I went here just to study in Far International University, I'm a fresh graduate, a fresh graduate from Elementary. Gusto ko ngang sana doon na lang pero ayaw ni Mama, gusto raw dito.

As of the moment, I'm holding a paper, a map para hindi ako mawala sakali man. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron pero awkward rin akong nakatayo dahil hindi ko alam ang irereact. I'm wearing a fossil gray oversized plaid blazer over a blue long sleeve polo that's been tucked in a blue skirt. I also have a neck tie na may logo nang school. I also got a black high knee sock and a school shoes. Honestly, it looks like a uniform from an Anime.

I'm silently waiting for a cab when I saw a man running with some cup noodles on his hand.

"Oy taga Far rin!" I heard him but I just ignored him because I don't even know him.

"Oy!"

"Ay snobber."

Napalingon ako ako sa kumalabit sakin, yung lalaki na maingay. He's wearing a uniform, a fossil gray blazer, inside a blue polo and a slacks, he also have a neck tie.

"Taga Far ka?" He asked despite of being obvious because I'm wearing their uniform.

I didn't respond, I just avoid my eyes and look into the road.

"Ay snobber."

Minutes of waiting, a cab showed up. Naglakad na ako pero napahinto rin dahil sa pagtawag niya.

"Babaeng Snobber!"

Nilingon ko siya.

"Mahal jan, magjeep ka na lang." Aniya habang kumakain. I didn't respond again and walked towards the cab and open the door.

"Mahal jan sinasabi ko sa'yo!" He shouted. Pumasok na lang ako sa loob.

I went out with irritation. Tama nga yung lalaki, wagas makapatong ng pamasahe na akala mo Isang oras ako, hindi nga uminit yung pwet ko tapos one hundred three?! Kaya ayoko sa Maynila eh, ang mahal rito, mabuti pa sa Probinsya, fresh air tsaka may awa yung mga driver. Wala man lang students discount na ibinigay.

Dumeretso ako sa may guard house. Itinuro niya sa'kin ang way kung saan ang Class 2. Afterwards, I walked despite of confusion and awkwardness in me.

I entered the building of I don't know name basta may nakalagay raw sa gilid na number 7. As soon as I went in, I was welcomed with lockers and students na mga nasa paligid.

I saw the room of Class 2. I knocked. In a matter of seconds, the door opened.

"Goodmorning, you must be Miss Throndsen?"

I gave her a nod. She smiled at me."I'm Miss Andra. Pasok ka dali."

Pumasok ako sa loob. My eyes roamed around exquisitely. 21 kami in total.

"Students please pay attention." Miss Andra called. Everyone looked at us so I tried myself not to stand up awkwardly.

"Oy may bago! What's up!" Bati nang Isang lalaking may kalakihan na nakaupo sa likod habang may nakasandal sakanyang babae na nakatingin lang rin sa'kin.

"Magkaklase na sila since pre-school kaya magkakilala silang lahat. Go on introduce yourself." Miss Andra urged. I nodded

"Hi, I'm Therese Priestin Throndsen." I introduced myself in simplicity with a low tone of voice.
