It was already late in the evening when she finally came back. The blue haired girl stormed in the room and threw the bag of freshly bought food on the ground. She let out a frustrated sigh as she sat down on one of her rocks, her head in her hands.

Varian had stood the whole time watching from a small distance. He took an unsure step towards her.

"Uh, Cassie? Are you alright?" he asked in a small voice. She looked up and the younger boy took a few steps back when he saw the furious expression in her eyes.

"Ofcourse I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" she almost yelled as she stood up and started pacing around. He winced but she was too occupied by her own thoughts to notice. For a few minutes it was just silence between the two as she continues to pace and he watched her. Varian noticed she was starting to panick.

Suddenly she stopped and turned to him. "Have you ever studied my black rocks?" she asked.

Slightly taken aback, he answered. "Y-yes, I started studying them since you left Corona to follow the rocks."

"And...?" she urged him to continue.

"W-well, for a long time I didn't find anything special, but a month ago I found something weird. A connection. Or rather the opposite of a connection. Between what or who, I'm not sure. Well, the papers with more information should've been ready by now, but-"

"You mean these papers?" Cass interrupted and took a bundle of papers from her bag.

"How did you..."

Surprised, he came closer to look at them. She gave him the bundle and he started to examine the papers.  He saw the sketches he made, but with more informatian written underneath them.

Cassandra sat down again and watched him calmly as she gave him some time to read all of it. Varians eyes widened as he scanned the papers. Had they been wrong all this time...

The luna lapis and the sol stilla are the two most powerful opals in the world. When they fell to earth from the heavens, the opals each chose a person. And they can only be controlled by those persons. The fate would do anything to get the opals to their 'owners'. The two stones must at all cost not touch....

Blablabla...

The moral of the papers was literally the opposite of what Demanitus said. He had said that the opals must reunite, but this said that they really shouldn't. And Varian immediately believed his papers.

He was so occupied in his thoughts that he didn't notice that Cassandra had came standing next to him and had read it all too.

"Well that explains why Rapunzels hair was acting like it wanted to get her away from the stone," she said. Varian jumped. "But let's talk about something completely different. Sit down."

The alchemist did as he was told, confused. He was surprised that she didn't want to know more about the opals. But he was even more surprising by what she did next.

Cass took something from under her armour, a necklace. And with a shock he realised which one. The Cassandrium.

"Y-you still have it?"

She nodded and layed it in her lap.

"I'm going to ask some questions about this element and you're going to answer them as precisely as you can, alright?" she said. He wanted to ask why, but changed his mind and nodded instead.

"Is it possible to change its colour and form?"

"Uh, f-form shouldn't be a problem, colour can get a bit tricky, though. But it's not impossible," he answered, slighted taken aback by her sudden interest, but she seemed pleased with his answer.
