Varian slowly opened his eyes. His head was throbbing. He looked around and saw familiar faces. Eugene, Lance, Rapunzel, Kiera, Catalina. Even Shorty, but he was asleep.

"Oh, Varian! You're awake!" The princess squealed and gave him a tight hug. Perhaps a little too tight.

"Give him some space to breath, Blondie," the former thief said, but he too looked relieved.

Rapunzel pulled back and looked at the alchemist in concern. "How are you feeling?"

Varian blinked a few times to let his eyes adjust to the sudden light and sat up straight. "I'm fine, princess." Was all he could manage to say.

"What did Cassandra do to you? Oh, I swear if she-" Eugene started, but the eyes of the young boy widened and he stopped him.

"No!" he interrupted. Everyone looked weird at him and he started to feel a bit uneasy. "Uh, I-I mean she didn't do anything to me. We just g-got into an argument a-and it was all my fault."

"Your fault? Varian, it was anything except your fault that she kidnapped you," Eugene stated. The raven boy groaned as things were getting too loud for his head. Rapunzel shushed her boyfriend and instead started talking to him in a softer tone.

"Do you might know what she was doing here?" She asked.

"Here? Was Cassie- I mean Cassandra, here?" Varian asked confused. They nodded.

"Did she say anything about why she could be here?"

"Uh, she told me that she comes here weekly-"

"What?" Eugene half yelled, but then remembered Varians headache, and whispered:"What?"

"Since Corona is the closest kingdom, she comes weekly for food and stuff. But other then that she didn't tell me anything," the alchemist explained. He saw their confused looks and sighed. "She took some kind of cloak from the Spira, or something like that."

"The Spire," Rapunzel whispered. Varian nodded.

"Well, that explains that," Eugene said and leaned backwards in his chair. "But for now let's take a-"

"Then maybe we should check every person that enters and leaves Corona," a mysterious voice said from the doorway of the infirmary. "In case she comes back."

"And ofcourse, Adira is here! Because why wouldn't she be?" The princesses boyfriend exclaimed.

The female named Adira walked towards them. She had her white hair in a weird braided bun and half of her face was painted red.

"And something tells me it won't just be for food next time," she continued.

"Do you mean... that's she's going to attack us?" Rapunzel asked. Adira shrugged.

"A very high chance, yes. Now that she has the power of the moonstone, I'm sure she wants to use-"

"No," Varian interrupted the weird female. She looked confused.

"What?"

"No," he repeated. "I don't think she'll attack us."

"And why do you think that?" She questioned him. The look she gave the raven boy made him feel uneasy.

"W-well, she told me that she had no interest in doing that," he muttered. Adira didn't looked convinced.

"Uh, Varian?"

The alchemist looked away from Adira and turned his gaze to Rapunzel instead.

"Yes, princess?"
