Chapter 12

Spoilers for Once A Handmaiden

Previously on Your Destiny Is Magical (read in Eugene's voice xD):

"B-but why? What's going on?" The princess demanded.

"I-it's Cassandra!" The real Faith screamed. Rapunzels eyes widened as she realised where she had recognised her voice. The princess turned her head to face the other girl.

"C-cass?"

"C-cass?" Tears started forming in the blond girl's eyes.

Cass started backing away, cursing herself for not believing Varian that the amount of powder she used wasn't enough. She let out a nervous chuckle.

"Uh, hi?" Cassandra said nervously, then looked at the open door and back at Rapunzel. "Well it was nice seeing you again, Raps. Bye!"

And with that she sprinted towards the door. Cass, who still looked like Faith, ran through the hallways, using a lot of 'excuse me's, and bursted through the castle doors, into the buzzing city.

"Cass, wait!" She heard a voice behind her say. And to the princess's surprise, she actually stopped. Rapunzel ran towards her former best friend. When the blonde woman reached her, Cass turned around.

"Rapunzel, I-I'm not here to fight," she said as she took a step away from Rapunzel.

"Cass, w-what.... why did you...," Rapunzel stuttered. The fake Faith felt something pulling at her dress.

"No-" she gasped as she felt the silk cloth leave her body. Everyone that was at the square started screaming and panicking.

"Listen, I-I can explain!" Spoke the blue haired woman to Rapunzel.

Before she could reply, guards came from everywhere and aimed their weapons at Cassandra.

"Step away from the princess!" One of them demanded. Cass did what he said and took a step back.

"Throw your sword on the ground!" Another guard said. The moondrop raised an eyebrow.

"You do know that I have control over the black rocks and that I don't need a sword, right?"

He aimed his weapon at her face as a threat.

"Fine", she said while rolling her eyes and threw her sword on the ground.

With Varian and Eugene (Aka Team awesome)

"Yes! That's five-zero for me!" The alchemist exclaimed happily when he shot yet another target with his newly made weapon. They were in a little garden just outside the castle.

"If you don't let me shoot then how am I suppose to make a point?" Eugene said. The pair was interrupted by a shout coming from behind them.

"Captain!"

The two males turned around and pulled off their safety goggles.

"Oh, hey Stan. What's up?" The captain asked, worried when he noticed the panicked expression on the man's face.

"Cassandra's in Corona, she's attacking the princess!"

Both their eyes widened. Eugene pulled a dagger out of his boot.

"Thank you, Stan. Now return to your post", he said.
