**Mew's POV**

After changing jobs for the 6th time around Bangkok I think I have finally found a job that I will enjoy. Every job that I have had before this has been exhausting and boring which doesn't fit me at all.

I love interacting with people and this way it will be easier to see my best friend Santa. Now that I'm at a more remote location that many people visit I wont have to ask for a ridiculous amounts of days off when he's in town and not galivanting around the world for his modeling gig.

I was currently rocking back and forth on the train waiting for my stop as I stare out the window and my hair falls into my eyes. Since I was a kid I always let my hair grow unruly and my family and friends were never big fans of it but I had no intention of going to a shop and getting it cut.

Now if someone offered to cut my hair than I wouldn't object but nobody really approaches me so I don't usually get those offers.

Plus my long hair fits my barista vibes anyways so why should I care?

The sign by my street began to flash green so I pressed the wire above my head down to let them know I wanted off this stop. The café was kind of in the middle of everywhere so it was never empty.

Even though it was my first day on the job I use to go here all the time with Santa and a few of our other buddy's after school a few years ago.

I'm what 29 now and still haven't found my soulmate. It's kind of gotten to the point to where I don't really care anymore. I spent years getting picked on at each new job I went to for not connecting my soullace but it's made me realize that finding my soulmate wasn't the main thing in my life.

If I was meant to find them than they will appear eventually. I'm just going to live my life and wait for them to appear.

If they never appear than that's okay too...

There was a loud beep as the doors of the train opened and I stepped out with a few other passengers. As I was walking down the street I pulled my apron and hat out of my bag and started to get ready as I walked to the café.

Thankfully I didn't forget my hair tie today like I did on the day I did the interview. Than I would have borrowed one from Becky and she is a little...

Different...

I was chuckling to myself as I look up at the sky, it was a nice day out and I couldn't wait for the rain to start like it said it would this morning on the weather channel.

Call me weird but I am one of those people that like to stand in the rain and just let it wash away my worries.

Both of my parents died when I was young so my aunt raised me but she was never really around since she had 4 children of her own and she's a lawyer so there was never enough time to spend with everyone which means I basically raised myself.

Which I don't mind at all,  it taught me important life lessons and I had to grow up at a fairly young age. It also helps that I'm kind of cheap.

Just a little bit.

A smidge...

To better explain that I currently have almost 300 thousand saved from my entire life savings since I was 16. All I spend is the essentials and nothing else. I guess you could call me boring but I don't mind, I just never had any good reason to spend any of it.

Santa likes to joke and say I get a lot of tips only because I'm handsome and kind but i'm not fully sure about that.

*Ding*

The sound of the bell on the door rang as I walked in and as soon as I was able to see inside I was greeted by a hyper Becky.

Becky: She comes running at me with a giggle. "Mewieee!!!"
