This morning wasn't working out the way I wanted it to, my clothes weren't dry like I had thought they were. My toast ended up getting burnt to a crisp so I had to throw it away and than my train was late so I was unintentionally late to work.
Thankfully Gulf had called for breakfast like he usually does so I was able to avoid my boss's anger by taking his food over to the shop.
Once I had gotten there the building was hectic. There had to be at least 9 stylists and 20 clients. Everyone was yelling and fighting over which style they wanted and it kind of looked like a beauty pageant blew up in here.
I was gave a small wave to Moon with a smile as I headed toward the back of the shop as she tries to pull braids into a girls hair that wouldn't stop moving around.

Earth: Once I was inside I spot Gulf and chuckle to myself as I point toward the chaos. "What the hell is going on out there?"
Gulf: He groans before grabbing the food from me. "The mothers of the little miss pageant decided they wanted us to be the ones that worked on there daughters."
Earth: I sat down next to him feeling confused. "I thought they all have personal stylists for that?"
Gulf: "They do but I guess 4 of them quit last night and the rest kind of just followed but after dealing with those little ones for over an hour now I can see why everyone quit. There tiny monsters in makeup..."
Earth: "Oh come on they can't be that bad..."
Gulf: He was in the middle of stuffing his face with food when he lists his arm showing a small red mark. "One of them bit me because I made her curls too big." Than he pulls back the sleeve on his other arm to see a cut against his forearm. "Another one scratched me with her nails because I made her sit in the chair for too long."
Earth: "Oh wow..."
Gulf: "Yea and I was almost un-able to call you for food but thankfully Moon took my client that wanted braids so I could relax for a moment."
Earth: "Ahhh so the little girl she was practically wresting out there was yours?"
Gulf: "Yep."
Earth: "Fun..."
Gulf: He wipes his face with a napkin before showing me a soft smile. "How are you holding up all by yourself?"
Earth: "I'm doing alright just taking it one day at a time until he comes home. It's only two weeks so I should be fine. Other than work being a little rough I'm doing good."
Gulf: He rubs my head playfully. "Good, I don't need you acting all day while he's gone. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask Prem and I okay?"
Earth: "I know, you tell me this every time Santa has to go out of town."
Gulf: "That's because we care about you. Sometimes the only thing you have are your friends."
