**Boun's POV**

The down fall of being a soul bound child is having to watch your soulmate suffer if they've already found some one they love...

On top of that, my soulmate seems to be stubborn, hot headed, adorable, troubled, funny, kind, hard working, observant and.

Heart broken...

 He looked a little freaked out when I confronted him earlier about his feelings but I just want to break through those wall's that he seems to put up whenever he's around me. 

Thankfully I found out he was my soulmate when he wasn't aware of it or things could have gotten messy a long time ago. 

Atleast this time I can get him to fall for me with an open heart even if he is a little down right now. Others might see pain as a burden but I don't, I'm willing to be here during his pain to help him through it as long as he melts his icy exterior for me. 

No matter how long it takes...

Maybe If I hadn't confronted him last month when he freaked out again but what else was I suppose to do? He was hurting and in pain, I couldn't just leave him like that. I care about him, that would just be heartless and cruel. 

Plus he is the one that kissed me first so he couldn't completely dis like me, could he?

Ugh...

I'm not usually so un confident in myself but he's so fucking hard to get through half the time. Even when he isn't hiding or ignoring me he acts like a waterfall that washes away everything that comes near him. 

I'm just glad I met him the way I did so I could get to know him and fall for him on my own. It did hurt to hear him always talking about Gulf but I eventually got over it. I was just happy that he was happy. 

I was ready to keep our connection a secret until the day I died as long as I could stay by my side even if he didn't know who I was. 

Since he was smiling I could smile but now he is no longer happy or with Gulf so I want to show him that he's not alone anymore.

He will always have me.

**Three Years Ago**

Tay: I was in the middle of organizing new book orders in the company computer when he taps a book on the corner of my desk. "Hey who's the new guy?"

Boun: I glance behind him to see Prem pointing at the spines of books on a new shelf before glancing down at his hands to start counting as I began to laugh. "I forgot that you were on vacation with your husband when he showed up. His name is Prem, he seems to really enjoy reading. He's hard working and gets everything done on time but he is a little different. It's not bad or anything but it takes a little bit to get use to his energy, once you do though you'll really enjoy his company."

Tay: He slowly nods before sitting down in the chair across from me. "Is that so? What's his story?"

Boun: "Uhm, as far as I know he is a pretty simple person. He lives with his boyfriend which he met in highschool, oh and a little heads up he really likes to mention Gulf whenever he can so be prepared. It's like having two of you working here now."

Tay: He just rolls his eyes before glancing back at Prem. "Smartass."

Boun: "Hey is that any way to speak to your boss?"

Tay: "Really your going to use the boss card with me? How many years have we known each other? I was alive when your mother was changing your diapers."
