Part 23

**Santa's POV**

It's been almost exactly like I had expected...

After Mew showed up Earth and I stopped talking and whenever I tried to bring up a conversation it died almost immediately. In the last 2 days that he hasn't been home however I have gotten him to talk to me a few times. 

Usually it's right when we wake up whenever I ask him what he wants for breakfast or how long he's going to work that day and than at night when he gets home or right before we go to bed. He won't talk about anything personal yet but It's fine. 

I can be patient.

This is what I deserve. Actually no I deserve so much worse than this so I need to give Earth all the space he needs until he can forgive me for what I've done. 

To help a little bit I do keep my word by sleeping on the couch every night and I changed my modeling agency too. So far things were a little hard because nobody knew me here personally so asking people for help and stuff was still a little awkward but I'll get use to it eventually. 

I'm currently finishing up a set and about to head home but I need to wait until the photographer uploads his camera to the computer so we can see if I have to re-due the shoot. One thing I do enjoy about the fact that I changed company's is that I get a new photographer and this one is actually really kind. 

She lets me make my own schedule and she never pushes me to do more than I can handle, atleast so far she hasn't.

Once these photo's get uploaded it should be around the same time Earth get's off of work. I want to pick him up and try to get back into our old routines. Except to make things better it requires both of our cooperation so hopefully he doesnt push me away when I show up. 

Lexi: She walks over to the table I was sitting at before setting down her computer so show me today's shoot. "Hey Santa, every just finished but there is one photo that I don't really like too much. Would it be okay if we re-due it?"

Santa: I lean over to my right to glance at the photo she was talking about. "We can do that, I can see what you mean. That one didn't really turn out how we planned it to."

Lexi: "Should only take around half an hour and than you'll be good to go."

Santa: "Nice, you can start getting things ready and than I'll be over there as soon as possible."

Lexi: "Sound's good. See you in a minute."

As she grabs her computer and walks back over to the set I could feel my phone vibrating in my pocket.

Feeling confused I pull it out of my pocket and look at the caller. 

Shit...

Santa: "What is it?"

Bright: "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE?"

Santa: I pull the phone away from my ear with a wince. "Why are you yelling? What are you talking about?"

Bright: "Your little moment of enlightenment has really fucked me over. It's all over the news that Off and Gun are official now after connecting their soullace."

Santa: "So?"

Bright: "So? Soo, every single person that use to work with you that agrees with my cause has been causing me problems by spreading the news that you chose your soullace partner over the person you love. What the fuck is wrong with you?"

Santa: "What do you mean gave up the one I love? You know I'm tired of listening to you. It's been nothing but trouble and it made me realize that the one I love is Earth. I might have thought I loved Gun but that was because I felt like I needed to after meeting him through you all those years ago in school. Your twisted way of thinking is making people all around the world sad and I cant go along with it anymore."

Bright: "I don't care what you say about me because your going to realize in a few years that you messed up big time. You threw away your one chance at love and it will be nobody's fault but yours!"

Santa: "No bright I just saved my love life by giving up on your ridiculous obsession's. I'm done."

Bright: "Wait!!"

Hanging up on him I let out a sigh and place my phone on the table before leaning my head against the table. 

Atleast now that's over...

Huh, so Off and Gun made it official now?

Good for them...

There was a soft tap on my shoulder and it made me turn my focus to whoever was behind me.

Santa: The moment I moved my head though I think I jumped a few inches. "Earth! What are you doing here?"

Earth: His face was blank as he points at my phone. "Did you mean what you just said?"

Santa: I glance at my phone in confusion until his meaning dawned on me. Fuck... "How much of that did you hear?"

Earth: He walks up to me before setting a bag on the table from his work. "I made you dinner with some left over ingredients we had at the restaurant and my boss changed my shift around so I get off an hour earlier than usual from now on. I didn't know if you were still working so I came to check when I saw you talking to your photographer. Your phone rang the minute I was only a few feet behind you... So did you mean what you said?"

Santa: "I meant every word..."

I was afraid he was just going to nod and leave like he does a lot lately but instead he did something slightly more unexpected. He walks up to me and leans down to pull me into a hug as he smiles against my neck.

This was the first time he's touched me in such a long time...

Earth: Barely a whisper. "I love you..."

Santa: Not wanting to cry at work and right before a shoot too I suck in a breath and try to calm myself down before whispering back. "I love you too..."

Earth: He pulls away from me a little quicker than I would have liked before wiping his face and than wraps his arms around himself before looking down at the floor. "Uhm, when is your shoot over?"

Santa: Clearing my throat I try to get my composure back before glancing over at the set. "Well we were almost done but there was one photo that Lexi want's to re-due. So once we re-take the photos and get them uploaded. Lexi will make a slide of all the photos and send it to my boss, I can go home as soon as my boss gives us the green light. It usually only takes a few minutes since he is always on his computer for work. 

Earth: He nods slowly before glancing around the area. "This place is different compared to the other one."

Santa: "It is but It's growing on me. I'm starting to like this place more, the people here are nicer to."

Earth: "Do you have time or do you just want to wait until we get home?"

Santa: As soon as I looked up I could see Lexi pointing at the set which meant that she was ready for me already. "I think we should wait to eat until we get home. It looks like she's ready so I'm going to try to get this done as soon as possible and than we can get going."

Earth: "Okay."

I watched as he sat down at the bench and once he was comfortable I got up and walked over to the set. All I wanted to do now was finish this and go home with him. 

It was nice that he actually said more than 3 words to me and I wanted more. I'm afraid that as soon as we get back it's going to go right back to how it use to be so I really hope it wont be like that again.

Even though I don't deserve it please don't shut me out again.
