I see you walking down the avenue
With my favorite glint in your eye
Your magical eyes, powerful enough
to stop my feet even after 5 years
one hand in your pocket, like always
the other one, having her fingers curl around it
The smile on your lips, though gentle
Beautiful enough to still turn heads
The mess of your hair,
Makes me wanna run my fingers through them
Even now.
"Dad, see this! "she calls out,
You turn all your attention to the 3-year-old
And I think, I always knew you'd be an amazing father.
"where's mom?" she asks now,
"I'm here, honey. Here's your ice-cream" I call out loud.
You see me then, a wider grin on your face,
"Happy 5-year anniversary wifey!"
"Happy 5-year anniversary husband!" I reply.
Did I get you? (comment)
Not my best work, but I really like the suspense this story line created..so i really wanted to put this here.
If it's way too worse, tell me and I'll, try to modify it.
