They all say, if you know, you know
They say, there are no signs of love,
When you fall you'll know.
I used to often wonder,
How will things change all of a sudden?
How will I get to know?
But that day, that minute,
I was falling apart in every possible way I knew was possible
But all I said was, yeah, I'm ok, I'm fine.
I turned round, to go,
But you held me by my wrist, said, no,
You pulled me closer,
Honesty, kindness, care, love, glistening in your eyes,
And I melted right there in your arms
That minute,
It felt like my ship found it's anchor
It felt like I found my home,
It felt as if you'd protect me even if the whole world came undone
It felt like in my darkest moment I found happiness
In my moment of exile, I found my kingdom
In my moment of chaos, I found peace,
When my heart was overflowing with hatred, anger, misery,
You embraced me once, and I felt waves of love erupting inside of me
You touched me once and I felt sparks ignite on every inch if my skin
That moment,
I knew.
That moment I realized
If you know, you know.
That moment all I thought was,
"I hope cupid has hit both of us."
If you're reading, I hope you liked it. I have never fallen in love, but being a hopeless romantic, I have millions of perceptions about it. This was a little part of all those perceptions. please comment and let me know if this was nice, if it conveyed the emotions I felt while writing it.
The stargazing image at the beginning cuz it feels love-like to share the night sky with someone, talking all night(here, the hopeless romantic inside me speaks again.)
