I saw you today
Walking through the hallway
You were laughing and that brought up the corners of my lips
Your eyes glistened with love, and that brought tears in my own
Your hand around her shoulders, she looked the happiest she's ever been
And even if it broke my heart into uncountable pieces
It brought peace to my soul
Cuz in the 15 years that I've known her
And the forever that I've known you
You both look the best you've ever been
And even when I went home
I hope that my smile did well to conceal the hurt in my eyes
Cuz even though I love my sister to death
I wish I didn't have to see death everyday
By seeing her with the love of my life.
