~Lyric POV~
The moms were not very happy that Ms. Abby finished our trio before the group dance. So, it was a little hard to focus at first with all the yelling, but we managed to get through it.
Abby- Great work girls. I want you guys to work on this on your own. I am going to dismiss you guys and start on the solos. I will see you guys tomorrow.
Girls- Thank you
While the girls were learning their solos, our little sister Heaven, Layla, and I were going to take a new class Ms. Abby just added this week. This was the only class that was optional for Layla and I, since we have to take every class. It is a latin dance class. We were excited to learn a new dance style and challenge ourselves.

~2 hours later~
The class was fun and challenging. We did have a few small blisters on our feet but it was fine. Ms. Abby wanted to see the group before we left Studio A.
Abby- We compete in 3 days. You have 2 days to learn and perfect your dances. Layla and Lyric, I see you're in your latin dresses, how was the class?
Lyric- It was good. Just a few blisters on our feet.
Layla- We liked that it was challenging to us.
Abby- Good to hear. I encourage all of you to take the class. I'll see you tomorrow.
~Next Day~
We were at dance and Ms. Abby decided to start with the solos since she didn't work on them much yesterday. Maddie, Layla, and I worked on our trio in studio B. The part of the dance where we were most worried about is the timing of course. If the timing is off them the judges will know and we won't win. After running through that a couple times, we ran through the group dance with who we had. Everyone (moms and girls) were called into studio A to look at the solos after about 2 hours.
Abby- Girls, you all have good solos. I'm relying on you to win this weekend. I didn't give my number one girls solos, so you have a chance to prove yourself. Who is my number two girl, when my number ones aren't dancing? I'll be watching for a couple weeks and then make my decision. Let's start with Chole first. Girls, against the mirror and moms to the side.
~After Chole's solo~
Abby- I think it was good. Just watch your alignment on the tilt and watch your releve on your turns. Next is Kendall.
~After Kendall~
Abby- You need to watch for your technique and I need more stamina. Jill, you need to get her into more technique classes ,if she's ever going to catch up to these three.
Jill- I would love to get her into more classes but my daughter gets up and goes to school everyday. She doesn't have the luxury of being able to do it whenever she wants to.
Staci- Actually, they don't get to do school work, whenever they want. I make sure that they do all their work before dance. If they want to come in earlier to get in or stay later to do an extra class or have a private, they have to wake up earlier to get it all done before we leave the house, So, I would appreciate it if you stop saying that my kids don't do school work because they do.
Abby- Jill, if you want Kendall in extra classes, maybe you should think about homeschooling. That goes for all the moms. Last is Mackenzie.
~After Mackenize~
Abby- You need to start remembering your routines. I can't keep giving your baby dances. I gave you a mature dance this week to challenge you. You were second last week. Are you going to lose aging or win this week?
Mackenzie- I'm going to win
Abby- I hope so, cause if you don't, I'll bring in someone who will next week. Got it?
MacK- Got it.
Abby-Girls, go get a snack and a quick drink. Be ready to run the group dance in 10 minutes.
