When we got home after the competition, we found out that our grandma isn't doing to well. Our mom is at her house helping out and she won't be back until Friday. Our older cousin is going to be taking us to dance.Last weekend was great. Ms. Abby was very proud of us. The group dance the Shannon put together was amazing and I think we all worked together and made the piece even better. We're on our way to the studio for pyramid. I just hope Ms. Abby isn't hard on the other girls because they did very well also. When we got to the studio, we went into the dancer's den and started stretching. We stretched for about 15 mins and then Ms, Abby called us in for pyramid. Abby- Girls, last weekend was good. We almost had a clean sweep but Nia and Kendall's duet lost. On the bottom the pyramid is Kendall and Nia, you two placed third for your duet and that's not except able. Next on the bottom is Maddie. You only did the group dance, so there was nothing to really judge you on. Lat on the bottom is Lyric, you're here because you didn't dance last weekend. In the middle of the pyramid is Mackenzie and Chloe. You both placed first in your solos and did great in the group dance. And on top of the pyramid is Layla. You're up here because of the group dance. You both worked well with the other girls. Also girls I have a question. Where is your mom? Lyric- Our grandmother is sick and she's taking care of her. This is our cousin Harmony. Layla- Our mom would like the rehearsal recorded if that's OK. Abby- Of course, its fine. When is she coming back? Harmony- She should be here Friday. The doctor also said that Lyric can dance. Abby- OK. You can record the girls rehearsal. Now on to the dances for this weekend. The solos are going to Lyric and Kendall. There is a duet with Layla and Maddie. There will also be 2 group dances. The select team is going to be doing a teen group dance called Wild Horses. The elite team is going to be doing a junior group dance called Nicest Kids In Town. Layla and Lyric you're going to to be dancing with the select team and Lyric you're going to be dancing in both group dances. Will you be able to handle all 3 dances. Lyric- Yes, mam. I'll just have to work extra hard. Abby- That's the right attitude. Alright, Girls lets get started there is a lot to do this week .
