We were on our way to the competition. Layla and I were playing with Mia. When we got there, there was fans everywhere. We also saw Cathy and she said something about my sister and I but, we didn't react to her. When we got to the dressing room, we stated getting ready. Abby-Solos are first. Layla and Lyric, come here. We walked over to her Abby- After your solos is your duet. Layla- OK. After everyone is ready we head to the stage. First was Maddie
She did great. I was next.
I think I did great. Next was Layla.
When she came off, she ran to the bathroom I ran after her to see what happened. Lyric- Layla, what happened? Why are you crying? Layla- I did awful. I feel out of a turn. Lyric- Its OK. You did great. Stop crying. Lets go get ready for the duet. We walked back to the dressing room. When we got there Ms. Abby and our mom looked worried. Staci- Girls, where were you guys. Layla- It was my fault. I ran to the bathroom and cried because my dance wan't good. Abby- Layla, come here. Layla walked over to her. ~Layla POV~ Layla- Yes, Ms. Abby? Abby- Why were you crying? Layla- Cause I fell out of my turns and my dance was awful. Abby- Layla, you did great. Don't be so hard on yourself. It was one mistake and you covered it up well. Go get ready for your duet. By now, everyone was listening. Jill- Abby, why are Layla and Lyric getting ready? Abby- They have a duet. Jill- Why do they get a duet?! Abby- Cause I want to beat Cathy Christi- Chloe and Maddie can beat Cathy Abby- Yes but I want to chances of beating Cathy. Girls, lets go. Maddie and Chloe went first
They did great. We were next.
We got a standing ovation. Up next was Cathy's duet.
They did amazing. We went back to the room to relax. We had a little time until the next number.
