Chapter 13

~Staci POV~
Today is Friday and its also the last day of rehearsal. I'm coming back to take the girls to the competition. My mom is doing better, so I feel a lot better. The twins feel a lot of pressure this week especially Lyric. But I just tell them to go out there and do the best the can and not worry about whats going on off stage. The girls and Maddie have been having extra privates to help them put their best foot forward. When we got to the studio, we went into the dancers den and I started to help the girls stretch. We did that for about 10 mins when Abby called in the girls and the mom went upstairs.
~Lyric POV~
Ms.Abby called us into Studio A.
Abby- Girls, this week is so important. I want a clean sweep. So lets go. I'm going to start with the duet, then the solos and last the group dances. Maddie and Lyric, lets get started.
~Staci POV~
We were watching Maddie and Lyric do their duet when Jill asked Melissa and I a question.
Jill- Staci and Melissa, how do the girls know the duet so well?
Staci- We used our privates to work on it and their solos
Jill- So Kendall is going to lose because Layla had more practice with her solo.
Staci-No that isn't true. She wanted to learn the whole thing so she could work on it by herself at home. So she asked Abby if she could learn the whole thing. You could have done that for Kendall but you didn't.
Jill- I didn't because Abby didn't let Kendall have a private.
Staci- How is that mine or Melissa's fault?
Jill- It's not. But now your daughter an advantage over mine.
Staci- Her having a private means nothing. Either she is going to have a private or she's going to work on it at home. That's the end of this conversation.
~Layla~
~3 hours later~
We were done with rehearsals and Ms. Abby was giving us one more prep talk before the we leave.
Abby- Girls, tomorrow we compete an I want to win. So make sure you put your best foot forward. Your Dismissed. See you tomorrow.
