~Lyric POV~
Last weekend was great. We had a clean sweep for the second week in a row. I also got a perfect score in my duet and Layla got first place in her solo. So, it was a good weekend for us. I think having our family their helped a lot. But it was Monday and Lyric and I were at the studio stretching and improving before pyramid in studio A. Our mom was in the view room watching us. We were marking through the dance when Ms. Abby walked into the studio.
Abby- Hey girls. What are you working on?
Lyric- We were stretching and now we're working on a duet we put together
Abby- That's a great use of your time. Let me see what you have.

While we were showing
Ms. Abby, our mom and the rest of the mom walked in the room.
Abby- Girls that was great.
Layla/Lyric- Thank you.
Jill- Abby, how come they are learning a dance early and none of the other girls are?
Abby- They aren't learning anything. They are showing me an improv dance that they were working on. I asked them to show me it. So, know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.
Christi- So now that they showed you the dance are they going to have a duet this week?
Abby- Why are you guys blowing this way out of proportion? I asked them to show me a minute of choreography that they were playing around with. I never said that I would be turning it into a duet. You guys are wasting time and we have a lot of dances to get through this week. So, girls get in here and line up.
While the moms were complaining Layla and I just stood there awkwardly. But after that all the girls ran in and we started pyramid for the week.
Abby- Congratulations girls. You had a clean sweep for a second week in a row. Now on to the pyramid. First on the bottom, Chloe, Maddie, and Kendall. Your duet was second and second is the first to lose. Last on the bottom we have Mackenzie. You were also second and you let Nia bet you. First on the middle row we have Nia. You solo was great, and you were the first place in the junior division. Next, we have Layla. Outstanding job in your solo and the group. But on top of the pyramid with a perfect score is Lyric. Your duet was breathtaking. Welcome to the perfect score club.

Abby: Girls this week we will be attending Starbound right here in Pittsburgh. Now on to the dances for this week. Mackenzie, I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself from last week. You will have a lyrical solo called Dancing Barefoot. Kendall and Chloe, you both will have solos. Kendall your solo is called Dream It and it's a jazz solo. Chloe your solo is called Nobody's Perfect and its lyrical. Layla, Lyric, and Maddie, you 3 will be doing a jazz trio called Why Don't You Love Me. The group dance this week is called That's Life. I expect another clean sweep this week girls. Alright, moms your dismissed and girls spread apart.
~Staci POV~
I was sitting upstairs with the moms watching the girls learn the group dance.
Holly- Christi, what duet were you talking about earlier?
Christi- Jill and I walked in on Lyric and Layla working on a duet with Abby.
Staci- They weren't working on anything with Abby. They were in Studio A working on a duet they made, and Abby walked in and asked to see it. So, they showed it to her. You guys are making this such a big deal for no reason.
Jill- Not really because Abby has given your girls secret duets before.
Staci- But that was Abby's doing. She didn't want you guys to know about the dance.
