Chapter 2

Staci POV ~When the moms are dismissed~
Melissa- How long do your girls do school work?
Staci- I wake them up about 8 am and they work until about 2 pm.
Melissa- When do they have time to stretch and do regular kid things?
Staci- They stretch while they do work. They don't really like to do regular kid things. The twins like to stay to themselves. They are each others best friends. I also have 8 other kids, so they spend time with their siblings.
Jill- 8 other kids!? How do you have time to do anything?
Staci- I get it all done during the day. Sometimes I'll drop the girls off at dance and go finish my work and come back to watch them. But, my kids clean up after themselves. All I really have to do is cook and make sure all the kids are good.
Christi- What does your husband do for a living?
Staci- He owns a few business.
Jill- So, you do know that your daughters shouldn't have gotten solos?
Staci- It's not my choice of who gets solos. Abby gave them solos not me.
Jill- I think you should pull your daughters solos
Staci- I will not pull my daughter solos.
Jill- Why not? My Kendall should get a solo over yours!
Staci- I am not pulling my daughters solos!! I would never do that to them!!
Christi- Then you are just like Melissa!! You will do anything to get your daughters ahead!! Even if that means hurting the other kids!!
Staci- I would never!! My kids were giving solos and that's it! I'm done talking about it!
Lyric POV
Abby- Gia, can you go get the moms?
Gia- Sure. As we wait for the moms, Layla and I start stretching with each other.
Finally the moms come down.
Abby- What is the problem?
Staci- Jill and Christi are mad that my girls got solos and they want me to pull their solos.
Abby- They're just jealous. Since they want to yell a scream, I'm starting Layla and Lyric 's solos right now. Everyone against the back wall. Layla, I'll start with you first.
~After finishing Layla's solo~
Abby- That was beautiful and your solo is finished. Now time for Lyric's solo.
~After finishing Lyric's solo~
Abby- That's a wrap. They both just learned a whole dance without one correction. Bye girls be ready to work tomorrow.
