SAMMY'S POV

My hand rests on Blake's shoulder as he sits on the hospital bed. He wears a cast on his left arm. Ace had broke it when he sent Blake to the ground at the fair. He has a black eye that is swollen shut and a busted lip.

That's what Tracey had told me anyway.

How could he do this to me? After everything we have been through. How could hurt me like he has?

He had said that it was my fault that I am pregnant, not his. He announced everything to everyone. And then he decided to fight my boyfriend.

Nothing has ever hurt worse than the words he has spoken to me. Not even the bullet that blinded me had hurt so bad.

He had stepped to me as if he wanted to hit me, he had spoken as if he wanted to hit me. And nothing told me that he wouldn't hit me. He would have hit me without a second thought about it.

Tracey told me that he was arrested but he would probably just spend the night in jail and get out tomorrow.

When she told me that, I felt a relief pass over me. As if I don't have to worry about him coming back at the moment. He scared me tonight. Ace...the only guy I have ever truly loved had scared me.

Its a moment that I will never be able to forget.

"Are you okay?" I ask Blake

He chuckles "I've been better"

I give a light smile "I'm so sorry, Blake" I apologize "he usually isn't like that, you know. I don't know what had gotten into him"

"Its not your fault, Sammy. Don't apologize for his actions" he tells me and then laughs "like I had said before, he is the last person I would ever want to fight." I rest my head against his arm "I would say you should see the other guy but I didn't get a punch in"

"He is such a dick" I sigh "I don't know why I ever bothered with him"

He kisses my forehead

"Now you have to help me avoid him at school" I say

"I'm already on it"

He lifts my head up and kisses me
