ACE'S POV

I haven't talked to Sammy all week. Shit, I haven't seen her all week. She is probably avoiding me like last time.

But I have other things on my mind besides her. And that other thing is the kid I'm going to have and the money I need to make for the kid.

Tracey takes me to the house of the person she works for. His name is Zachary. She says that he is one of the biggest in the game, one of the richest in the game.

I stare up at the all glass house that he lives in. You can see everything from the outside. Except the bedrooms and bathrooms of course.

Everything inside is glass as well. The tables, the chairs, the stairs, the balcony.

This dude must have mad money

"You want to work for me" he says in a statement instead of a question.

"Yeah" I answer

"You say yes when you speak to me, understand?"

I close my eyes for a second and then open them, trying not to get angry "yes" I say

He takes a puff off of his joint "I heard about you" he nods "a fighter, yes?"

"Yes"

"You are very good from what I hear" he tells me

Tracey stands next to me, grinning

"What are you willing to do?" He asks

"Anything" I answer

"Anything" he repeats "I don't take that statement lightly. When you say anything... I will have you do what I want you to do."

"I'll do what makes me the most money" I tell him

"Why?"

"I have a kid I'm going to need to provide for"

He nods "seems reasonable" he puts out the blunt in the glass ashtray "I'll tell you what, ace miller. I have a few deals to make but these deals aren't like the ones that Tracey does...these have a twist."

I listen closely

"There is a man named Hazel and he is wanting to sell us two kilos of cocaine for a few thousand." He tells me "the good cocaine, you know what I'm saying?" I nod "but I want that cocaine brought back and the money brought back too"

That shouldn't be hard

"In order to do that though" he continues "hazel needs to be dead"

And there's the hard part

"This shouldn't be hard." Zachary says "its just a pull of a trigger. Easy."

He stares up at me "unless that is too much for you"

"Nothing is too much" I tell him, willing to do anything and everything I can

"Good" he smiles "that right there will give you three thousand dollars to begin with."

My eyes widen "what?!"

"Is that too much? Do you want me to lower the amount?"

I hold up a hand "no no" I say "that is quite alright"

"Good" he nods "but if you are going to work for me, then you need to look like you work for me" he stands up "I don't let the people who work for me walk around in what toy are wearing now"

I look down at my jeans and sweatshirt.

"You need a thousand dollar suit" he tells me "you need to look the best, all the time." He puts a hand in his pocket "when people see you, they will know you work for me without knowing you work for me, you know what I mean"
