SAMMY'S POV

Blake walks with me down the hall. Our fingers and threaded through each others. I rest my free hand on my stomach.

"Ace got a place for me and him" I finally tell him

His whole body stiffens next to mine and his hands gross mine tightly. "What?"

"We bought a house not far from here." I explain "we got furniture and everything. We even got everything for the baby."

"And you agreed to that?" He asks with an edge in his voice

"Well yeah. I want him to be there for the baby and it seems like a good idea. We agreed that we aren't together in any way and we aren't intimate. We are only doing this for the baby, it's not about me and him."

He sighs "you have to see how this would be hard for me. I mean... I'm your boyfriend. When I find out that you are going to be living with a different man then that upsets me a little."

"Blake, you can be there everyday if you want" I say "I don't like him like that. He is the father of my baby, I want him to be there no matter what"

"I know but I love you and I know that he can be a dick"

Wait.

Did he just say he loved me?

"I know but I love you and I know that he can be a dick"

That's exactly what he said

Choosing to ignore the statement he just made, I say "I think that now he sees this as a reality he has come into perspective and now knows that everything has to change, everything is going to change"

"But he is still ace miller"

I sigh "I know"

"Sammy!" I hear ace call out

I spin around to face the direction of his voice "yeah?" Blake stops next to me

"Tracey and johnny are going to be there Friday" he explains "my mom and dad are going to be there and I'm assuming that your mom amd dad are going to give you a ride there?"

"Yeah" I nod "they are"

"Blake, you can come to if you want" ace says, surprising Blake and I both. "We really need all the hands we can get with the furniture we have to get in there."

"Uh" Blake says, sounding taken back "yeah, I'm sure I can make it. I'll have Sammy give me the address"

"Good" I hear the smile in his voice "oh! Sammy, don't forget that you have a doctors appointment on Thursday morning for a check up. It has nothing to do with the baby, its just mandatory when you turn eighteen. You have to get the shots and all that jazz."

I had completely forgotten about that "oh, yeah, thanks"

"No problem" he says "I'll call you later."

"Bye"

I hear him jog off

Blake stays silent and frozen for a few moments "uh" he says awkwardly "yeah, I think he's not so much of a dick anymore" he says "um...you staying with him doesn't sound as bad as it did, to be honest. That was weird for all of us so let's just move on"

I laugh and smile to myself, happy the old ace is back around.
