"Is Sammy acting...um...strange in any way around you?" Kathy asks me as her and my mom talk at my house.

"Is she acting strange around you?" I ask her in suspicion

She lowers her voice as if Sammy is here and not at her house right now "yes" she says "she seems so out of it lately, you know. Every time I ask her something she is always saying " I don't know " or "I can't remember"."

I nod "she has been doing that to me too" I tell her, running a hand through my hair "she has also been acting a little bolder around me if you know what I mean" I tell her "like she wants control over the relationship"

"Relationship?" She says with a gleam in her eye

"Let's focus here, Kathy" I say

She straightens up "right" she nods "that isn't like her. She is mostly shy and very reserved"

"Yeah, is there anything that has been going on at home or anything?" I ask her

She shrugs "not that I know of."

I nod and then shrug "I'll figure it out. I have a feeling she won't just out right tell me so I'll have to get her to tell me somehow."

My dad sways into the room, the ten beers getting to him. "Well I'll tell you something right now, son" he points at me "if you don't have that girl in bed in about a week then I might just believe that you love this girl"

I give him a dumbfounded look and then shake my head at him, not knowing what else to fucking do about him.

"Well I hear that she'll do somethin stance for a peice of change" johnny says as we sit at a picnic table in the park with Tracey and Sammy.

I glance at the girl he is talking about "I don't know" I say "she could go either way"

"No, ace" Tracey says "there is no either way or in between. You are either a slut or not"

"So your not a slut?" I ask with a smirk

"I'm only a slut when it comes to you" she flirts

I laugh

Sammy stiffens beside me but clearly is trying not to show her jealously.

"She's hotter than a two dollar pistol" johnny nods, staring at her. Suddenly he holds a hand in the air and yells "aye!" To the girl "come here! Yeah you baby!" He smiles "oh...you know you want me." We all give him a face as he is the weirdest guy in the world...and he is. "Hey!" He continues to yell "you can call me daddy and I'll call my my girl!"

I see the girl turn away and give him the finger

We all bust out laughing

Johnny stills wears a silly grin "she wants me guys" he claims "she really does."

"Really?" Sammy laughs

"Yeah, really! You'll see. I'll have that girl in bed by weekend"

"Shit" I roll my eyes "that won't happen"

"Yes it will." He says "remember to take note, ace miller cuz you are gunna see somethin that you ain't ever seen before"

"Any moves that you have you learned from me, johnny so don't claim that they are yours"

He smiles "I hate it that you guys don't have faith in me"

Sammy reaches under the table and takes my hand from my lap. She laces her fingers through mine. She leans towards my ear and whispers oh so seductively "let's go back to my house"
