SAMMY'S POV

Blake takes me to his locker "I got you something." He says and stops me when we get there

"You got me something?" I ask in disbelief

"Of course I did"

He puts something in my hands. It feels like a box.

Feeling around, I take off the lid and he takes it from me. I let my fingers touch inside the box and my fingers touch something cold.

"Is it a necklace?" I ask

"Yeah" he answers "do you want me to put it on?"

I nod and he takes the box from me. I hear the box drop to the floor and then I suddenly feel his chest against my back.

The cold metal presses against the skin exposed from my v-neck shirt that exposes my baby bump.

I touch the necklace as he fixes the clasp in the back.

"It says Sammy" he tells me "I had it made over the weekend." He hesitates before saying "its in all diamonds"

I spin around to face him "what?!"

"Yeah. If I was going to do it then I wanted to do it right"

"How much did that cost?" I ask

"A couple thousand"

I gasp "how did you pay for that?"

"Well I wasn't hanging out with danny for the fun of it." He says "he had work for me"

"Your in the streets still"

"I know you never liked that but I have to have bill money for my mom somehow"

"I understand"

I keep my hands against the necklace "Ace never gave me a gift when we were together" I admit to him and myself

"Well he should have" he tells me "I just wanna give you the world, you know?"

I nod and blink back the tears that fight to leave my eyes "thank you so much, Blake, I'm never going to take it off"

"Anytime" he says

Tracey stops next to us and says "oh my gosh! Is that real?" She asks, touching my necklace "real diamonds?!"

I blush "yeah"

"Did you get that for her?!" She asks Blake

"Yes" he answers

She makes a sound "wait until ace sees this."

"Hey" I begin "I have a doctors appointment later at four. Can you take me?"

"I can't today. I have to stay home and babysit" she says

I nod and sigh "that's alright"

Blake speaks up "I'll take you"

"You don't have to, Blake" I say, shaking my head

"I want to" he says

Tracey squeals "great! Thanks Blake!" I hear her skip off

"Thanks again" I say "you really don't have to do all this for me"

"I want to" he says

"Okay" I smile "your the best"

"Oh I know"

"Sammy!" I hear an all too familure voice say

"What do you want, ace?" I ask with a groan as I stop and turn around

"Will you talk to me?"

"What is there to say?" I ask "every time we try to talk you end up walking away"

He sighs "oh come on"

"No you come on" I snap "I'm so glad I can't see you right now because I can't stand to even talk to you"

"Your kidding"

"No I'm not" I assure him "I can't, ace, not now"

"Stop being like that"

I laugh "stop being like that? You have some nerve, ace."

I feel his hand touch my neck and pick up my necklace "what the hell is that?"

I snatch the necklace from his hands "a present that Blake gave." I answer "the thing that you never gave me"

"I don't need to give you things to show you I love you"

I snicker "you rarely showed me in any other way than saying it"

I feel the heat from his body on mine and I know that he is now closer to me. "Sammy" he says "I love you with all my heart and soul and I want to make you happy"

"You should have thought about that before you chose to break my heart" I snap "you are so uninterested in my life that you dont even know that I have a doctors appointment later. And you know what I had to do because I knew that you wouldn't do it? I have to have Blake to take me because the father of my child won't even ask me how I'm doing with the baby that I have to carry"

"You sound pathetic, Sammy" he says and my jaw drops "we both don't want this baby and you know it"

Its as if I can't speak. My mouth hangs open and my body is frozen in place.

"Fuck you, ace miller" I finally manage to say "I hate you with all my heart and soul"
