Not If I Stay in Bed the Rest of the Day! (Part 2)

K.C.: *scrolls through through the list of questions and dares, sighing* Gays! Last dare from the set of 5! *waves them over, thinking that this dare would just be short*

Pip: *looks up from reading on his hardcover book* Who is it for? *tilts his head, wondering if he would be doing anything for that day*

K.C.: It's for Freddy! *looks expectantly at the flamingo*

Freddy: *looks up from playing with the babies, spelling "everyone deserves freedom" with the toy blocks on the floor* Ooh! Who's this dare from? *eyes widen curiously*

K.C.: *checks her Fly Pad again, biting her lip* Hmmm... it's from @Amanda737055 *holds the Fly Pad out for the flamingo to read*

Freddy: *stands up curiously, taking the Fly Pad* It says... *starts reading* I dare Freddy to go barefoot without flying *scratches his neck, his irises shrinking* How long will this last? We don't have any deliveries today, right?

Pip: I think this dare should just last a day maximum... I guess all dares with no specific time frame should last a day maximum... *shrugs* And no, we don't have a delivery today. Why do I feel like we had this dare before?

K.C.: Well we did have this dare before, except Freddy found a loophole and flew for the whole day. This time, he's not allowed to though *looks at the flamingo, who seems really thoughtful* I feel like Freddy found another loophole!

Freddy: *nods excitedly as he removes his shoes, then his mismatched socks* Yep! I sure did! *starts to shiver and place one webbed foot on top of the other* The floor is so cold... I forgot that was why I wore shoes... But I'm going to stay in bed for the whole day today!

K.C.: *sighs with a smile* Of course you found a loophole... I guess it gets a little too cold for you... Why do I feel like we'll be getting dares like this until Freddy stops finding loopholes and has to spent the whole day with cold feet?

Freddy: *shivers as he started walking quickly, realising that walking fast made his feet less cold* I think this is enough dares like this... It's so cold... Come on, Pip... Let's go to our room so I can finally just wrap a great big blanket around myself...

Pip: *smiles lovingly as he walks out of the nursery, with K.C. following beside him* The floor's not cold at all! *smirks, feeling a little lucky to be a penguin, then realises that everything was generally a little too hot* The floor's too hot, actually

Freddy: Too hot?! You're crazy... *shakes his head as he finally reaches their room and starts running in place impatiently, waiting for the doors to slide open, feeling the cold appear on the foot that hit the floor* Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry! *sighs with a large smile as the doors finally slide open and immediately canon-balled onto his bed, wrapping himself in blankets* Ahhh... This is nice...
