Well, That Was a Nice Meal!

K.C.: *eyes widen as another notification pops up on her Fly Pad and looks up with a smile* Guys! We have another dare! *waves them over*

Pip: *looks up from reading on his Fly Pad* Who is it for?

K.C.: *looks at the Fly Pad again* It's for you and Freddy!

Freddy: *flies down the mountain slide and scrambles towards the koala* Who is it from?

K.C.: It's from Ethan-Walker *hands the Fly Pad to the flamingo*

Freddy: It says... *starts reading from the Fly Pad* I dare Pip and Freddy to dine at a restaurant for dinner *eyes widen at the dare with a wide smile* FINALLY A DARE WHERE I HAVE TO EAT! *beams as he closes his eyes, imagining the food*

Pip: *says quickly* You're paying

Freddy: *gets pulled down back to earth and opens his eyes, facing the penguin with wide eyes* What?! NO!

Pip: *smiles smugly* Well, I said it first, so you'll hve to

K.C.: *shakes her head as she facepalms, laughing lovingly* How about I pay for both of you?

Pip: *exchanges a look with the flamingo and smiles* Sure! *shrugs*

K.C.: Well, there's this really good place I'm sure you two would love to eat at Cafe Adriatico! *beams wide*

Freddy: *eyes widen with a smile* I'm interested and curious. What is that anyway? *tilts his head*

K.C.: It's a really good place selling Fillypino food! *smiles* Mostly run by ponies though...

Pip: *exhanges a look with the flamingo and faces the koala with a smile, shrugging* I guess we could go there

K.C.: Alright *places a paw in her pocket and brings out a small pouch* Here! *hands it over to the two of them with a smile* I think this should be enough for you two!

Freddy: Yay! *takes the pouch with a smile, shaking it, noticing a few coins clanking against each other, which could mean that most of them were bills*

Pip: *enters the restaurant, pushing on the wooden-framed glass door and opening it wide revealing a dark interior lit up by a soft warm lighting giving such a homey feeling* Hmmm...

Freddy: Ooh! *smiles as he enters after the penguin, standing behind him as a green pony waitre approached them with a smile on xer face*

Waitre: Table for two? *tries to smile genuinely and be welcoming*

Pip: Yep! *nods, but then frowns as he realises that waitres need to act respectful and courteous while others don't even do the same to them*

Freddy: Nice place! *smiles as the waitre leads them to a table by the window with a nice view of the street outside and excitedly takes the menu* What are these food anyway? *tilts his head*

Pip: I dunno, but Sinigang na Bangus seems nice *raises his eyebrows with interest as he reads through the food in the menu*

Freddy: *just scans through the list of foods as his eyes stop at something that interests him, eyes widening* Adobo seems nice!

Pip: Then let's order *raises his flipper as he waits for a waiter to come* Uh... *looks at the menu again, feeling unsure with how to order* One sinigang and one adobo— *eyes widen* —please!

Waitre: Alright, noted *walks off*

Freddy: *eyes widen at the food placed in front of him full of algea in soy sauce and garlic* Ooh! I'm hungry! *starts eating and almost finishes half of it already*

Pip: *smiles as a bowl full of soup with kangkong and sampaloc inside with fish* I guess K.C. wasn't too wrong! *begins eating*

Freddy: I wanna eat here next time! *smiles as he reveals that his plate only has one-fourth of the original amount*

Pip: *swallows the food in his mouth then smiles* The food must be good if you're eating it this fast *looks down at his bowl again, eyes wideing as he realises he already drank half of his soup*

Freddy: Welp, I'm done! *licks his beak* When are we paying?

Pip: Almost, Fredamingo! *giggles as he takes the last few sips of his soup* Alright, we're done *raises his flipper as he waits for a waiter again* Bill please!

Waitre: *nods as xe goes back towards the cashier and grabs the bill, giving it to them* Here *walks away*

Pip: Fredster, you have the money, right? *raises his eyebrows at the flamingo*

Freddy: Yup! *beams as he takes out K.C.'s pouch from under his wing and zips it open, dumping the contents on the table, and it seems to just be around ten coins* Uh... *eyes widen as he looks around, knowing full well that it was not enough and lowers his voice* Pip! We don't have enough money!

Pip: *eyes widen as he looks down at the table where the coins lay* Oh shoot...

Freddy: *smiles wide and mischievously as he whispers* Can we leave? Are we going to run away? Steal?

Pip: *clicks his tongue* I mean... If it were a fast food restaurant in the food chain or literally anything else big and greedy, it would be fine if we did not pay, but this is quite small and can use the money... *looks around the restaurant, spying a rich couple in tuxedos and lowers his voice* Psst! Freddy! Do you think you can persuade them into giving us some free money?

Freddy: Sure! *nods and walks over to the rich animals*

Pip: *anxiously watching the flamingo, face heating up and wondering if it would work, tapping his webbed foot impatiently as he looks around the room, trying to distract himself*

Freddy: Pip? Pip! *waves his wing in front of the penguin, holding a bill*

Pip: *snaps out of his daze and smiles* Fredamingo, you did it! *raises his flipper again as he holds the money in the other one*

Waitre: *arrives at the table and takes the money with a grateful smile, walking away again*

Freddy: Well that was a good meal! *beams*

Pip: *rolls his eyes playfully*
