K.C.: *walks into the nursery, waving* Hey guys! That was the last of your music dares, right?

Pip: *looks up from reading on his Fly Pad and nods briefly once* Yup

K.C.: *stops walking and stands in front of both of them, placing a paw on her waist* Well, any new dares or questions? *raises her eyebrows with an interested smile*

Freddy: *looking over the penguin's shoulder to take a peak at the Fly Pad* Yep!

K.C.: *looks to the side with a smile as she shook her head vigorously* I never thought I'd be the one asking this, but who's it for?

Freddy: *takes the Fly Pad from Pip with a wonder in his eyes, smiling enthusiastically* It's for me!

K.C.: *smiles as she crosses her arms* Awww... That's nice. Who is it from?

Freddy: *moves the Fly Pad farther away from him as he tilts his head and reads* It's from @GlichytheHedgehog *shakes his head* Oof... Wrong spelling... *gives the Fly Pad back* I guess the corrct username must have already been chosen

Pip: Well, don't keep us in the dark! *elbows the flamingo playfully* What's the question?

Freddy: It says... *furrows his eyebrows in concentration as he starts reading on the Fly Pad* Freddy, why do you have purple feathers? Do they mean anything? And if so — What?

Pip: *starts to scoff but tries to restrain himself* It's a simple answer to a simple question really! Why would it even mean anything? *shakes his head*

Freddy: *eyes widen with curiousity* You seem to know more about the reason behind my feather colours than I do *eyes shrink back to normal size as he raises his eyebrows, eager to learn*

Pip: I mean... I don't only read fanfiction in my free time *smiles proudly* You have purple feathers because of what you eat! Your diet can affect the colour of your feathers.

Freddy: *eyes widen as he smiles with interest* Ooh! That's interesting! Cheese is giving me purple feathers!

Pip: *shakes his head with a laugh, forever entertained with the flamingo's replies* No, it's not cheese. The food that's making your feathers purple is probably rare though, considering the rarity of purple dye or anything of the sort so far *smiles at the flamingo playfully* The food you're eating's so rare so you better make the most out of them! Not to mention you gotta be grateful for having purple feathers!

Freddy: *eyes widen as he fakes being offended and hurt, placing his wing on his chest* How could you assume that I would ever do otherwise?

K.C.: *shakes her head with a laugh, still crossing her arms* You have to admit though — Freddy has a point. He always makes the most of his food!

Freddy: Yeah! *nods proudly in agreement with the koala, then places a wing on his cheek thoughtfully* I wonder what food is making them purple—?

Pip: I dunno so I can't answer that question *shakes his head* But I hope we managed to answer the asker's question!

((Hey, this is biological fiction, alright? Besides, this whole world is also kinda built on biological fiction

Freddy's anatomy is frustrating and concerning. I could rant about it here if I wanted to but I won't))
