Hug?

((Guess who's back? - I ended up taking a break. A very long break compared to my other ones, I believe, mind you. Life has just been too eventful for me to be able to sit down long enough to write, but now I am back. At least, I hope I am. People probably stopped caring about me though...))

K.C.: *eyes widen as another notification pops up on the Fly Pad* Guys! We have another question! *waves them over*

Pip: *looks up from reading leisurely at his Fly Pad, reading as he sat down on the floor* Who is it for?

K.C.: It's for all of us! *smiles as she lifts the Fly Pad in her paw, gesturing for them to come over already*

Freddy: Who is it from? *leaves the babies he was playomg with and walks over to the koala with a curious look upon his face*

K.C.: *looks at the Fly Pad again as she scans it for the user whom the question was from* It's from TheReal_Sal_Fisher *hands it over to the flamingo*

Freddy: Ooh! *looks at the Fly Pad curiously with wide eyes as he takes it from the koala* It says... *starts reading* Do any of you have homophobic parents/family members? And if you do, can I send you a hug?

(Precilla from the distance: *raises hand*
Also, does anyone else here have a homophobic family? You can always talk to me about it if you'd like!)

K.C.: Well, I guess I can start—? *looks at the two of them as they give her nods of their approval and she smiles//begins talking with a lot of enthusiasm, clearly excited to be sharing about her family* Well, my family's pretty wide as you all know, but they're all very accepting. Each and every one of them. Actually, nearly all of them are queer! Some of them are very strong allies though — and, well, maybe some of them like my aunt would rather us to not show our gayness that obviously when we're together, but other than that, we're alright!

Freddy: *almost grumbles* Good for you... *frowns as he looks down at the ground, wishing his family could be like that*

Pip: *soft voice* Freddy... *side-hugs the flamingo as he prepares listening to something he had hear quite a lot already*

Freddy: My mother was... very homophobic. She made it clear. She would scoff and would not stop talking whenever she would see anything remotely related to LGBTQ+ My father was more impartial but did nothing to stop her *looks down at the ground as he remembers* Which is why I tried to keep my pansexuality away from her as much as possible *shakes his head as the ghost of tears fill his eyes as he says the next part* Then one day my friend outed me. Getting outed to a homophobic parent was the absolute worst

Freddy: We were hanging out together and she knew that I was queer and was mostly questioning back then — and I would discover a new sexuality almost every week to see if I would fit in any of them — so she asked if I were still gay... *lets out a long slow sigh as disappointment fills him*

Freddy: My mom was silent about it, but when she got back home, she lectured me for at least an hour about how being queer was wrong and hoped that I would finally think straight and see sense. I knew I had to be extra careful, and so did she. She never allowed me to go to the home of someone of the same gender and never allowed me to say anything about the LGBTQ+ Community or even act remotely gay. I only could do tht in my room, but when the T.O.T.S. trainings came, she could not control me as much, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. Pip wanted to kill her

Pip: *alarmingly calm and firm tone* And I still will *eyes flash with determination*

K.C.: *chuckles nervously with concern and decides to change the subject* And how about your family, Pip?

Pip: I don't know *shrugs as he tries to remember* My mother has never really said anything about the LGBTQ+ Community. I mean, when you're her, when would you have the time to anyway? You don't really have time to think about your sexuality back at home, well, at least mum doesn't. My little brother and I got quite an early introduction to the LGBTQ+ Community because there were barely any filters our mother placed on us, which may be bad, but nothing's really happened so far. My little brother and I were both curious about gender and sexuality, so that was nice. He's bisexual. Now that I think about it... I think I'm gay

K.C.: Well, that was surely interesting to know! *smiles and it falters slightly as she sees the downcast flamingo and clears her throat* Well, I hope that answers your question!
