Chapter 9

As the five were walking through a courtyard, terrifying students looked at the ogre nervously. A female student started screaming and ran away quickly into the student parking lot where a bunch of different style horse-drawn carriages are parked.

A carriage passed in front of Shrek that read: " Caution- Student Driver."

" Alright Mr Percival, just ease up on the reigns..." The Drivers Ed Instructor got cut off by the carriage crashing out of sight. Kobe and Max looked to their left to see two stoner kids emerge from a medieval-style "VW" carriage.

" Sometimes I wonder why I'm not used to teenagers much." Kobe thought to herself while rolling her eyes in annoyance.

" I'm already starting to feel nauseous from memories of wedgies and swirlies!" Donkey exclaimed.

" But how did you receive wedgies when you are clearly not the wearer of the underpants." Puss asked him. Kobe and Max looked at Donkey agreeing with the male cat.

" Let's just say some things are better left unsaid and leave it at that." Donkey told Puss. Kobe and Max shook their heads with smirks on their faces.

" You think you're the only one who's nautious? Me and Max are worried about what this Arthur person's gonna be like because we're in some type of High School and most High Schools are practically full of rude and annoying teenagers." Kobe told the donkey.

" Let's just hope for the best." Max told his best friend. Donkey, Kobe and Max noticed two female students discussing their loved ones. Shrek approached them.

" Pardon me..." Shrek tried to ask them but they both fled in terror and disgust.

" Eh! Totally ew-th." The first female said in disgust.

" Yeah totally." The second female said in disgust as well before fleeing away.

" Honestly I wish we never came here." Kobe muttered to herself as she was disgusted with the way the two girls reacted to her ogre owner. The gang noticed a pair of two dorky kids play a medieval, role playing board game.

" Hi, we're looking for someone named..." Shrek got cut off by the two laughing at him.

" Gee, who rolled a plus nine 'dork' spell and summoned the beast and his quadrupeds." The teenager named Gary teased while laughing. Xavier laughed and snorted.

" Quadrupeds?!" Kobe thought to herself offended.

" Hey this female cat here is sensitive!"Max yelled to the two boys while pointing at Kobe.

" Whatever lizard." Gary said rolling his eyes at Max while laughing still. The students panicked when they saw Xavier's nose bleeding.

" I know you're busy 'not fitting in' but can either of you tell me where I can find Arthur?" Shrek asked them. Xavier tried to control the bleeding on his nose.

" He's over there." Gary told the ogre pointing towards the athletic field.
