Chapter 26

The Evil Dwarves grabbed the Three Pigs while Gingy was surrounded by by many Evil Knights. He pooped out of gumball. Dragon started to move forward only to find herself surrounded by crossbows. A bunch of pirates Fiona and tied her up.

" Fiona!" Shrek exclaimed to his wife.

" No! Let go of me!" Fiona yelled at the pirates but they wouldn't listen. Shrek struggled to free himself of the chains, but it was no use.

" You not ruin things this time ogre." Prince Charming firmly said to Shrek as he narrowed his eyes at him.

" Shrek!" Kobe yelled out to her owner.

" Kill it!" Prince Charming signaled the villains to attack Shrek which made Kobe's heart skip a beat. As the villains advanced towards Shrek, a spotlight shined in their eyes, stopping them in their tracks.

" Everybody stop!" Artie yelled at the villains.

" Oh, what is it now?" Prince Charming said exasperated.

" Artie!" Kobe thought to herself as she was happy to see Arthur again.

" Artie?" Shrek asked looking up at the teenager wondering what he was doing here. Artie jumped from the spotlight and landed clumsily on a hanging cloud. He leaped awkwardly from cloud to cloud as the audience stared in awe.

After one last leap, Artie swung down on the Cherub's cable, sending the little person up in the air. He landed on the stage in between the villains and Shrek.

" Who really thinks we need to settle things this way?" Artie asked the villains. The Evil Knights thought about it and raised their hands. The other Villains followed suit.

" Oh brother." Kobe thought to herself rolling her eyes at the villains that raised their hands.

" You're telling me you just wanna be villains for the rest of your lives?" Artie asked the bad guys which gave them a pause.

" But we are villains. It's the only thing we know." Captain Hook stated.

" Didn't you ever wish you could be something else?" Artie asked the pirate.

The villains weren't convinced when he asked that.

" Well it's easy for you to say, You're not some evil enchanted tree." Evil Tree 2 pointed out to Artie.

" You morons! Don't listen to him! ATTACK THEM..." Prince Charming was about to say but another Evil Tree covered his mouth and then motioned to Artie.

" What Steve's trying to say is that it's hard to come by honest work when the whole world's against you." Evil Tree 1 told the boy. Kobe felt bad when she heard the tree say that because they can all relate to being treated badly.

" Right, thanks Ed." Evil Tree 2 now known as Steve sarcastically thanked Evil Tree 1, now known as Ed.

" Okay, fair enough. You're right. I'm not a talking tree. But, ya know, a good friend once told me that just because people treat you like a villain, or an ogre..." Artie stopped mid-sentenced and shared a look with Shrek.

" Or just some loser..." Artie stopped mid-sentenced again as the villains listened intently.

" It doesn't mean you are one." Artie finished his sentence. Kobe and Max smiled as they nodded their heads yes in agreement. The Evil Tree tightened his grip as Prince Charming struggled to break free.

" The thing that matters most is what you think of yourself." Artie said. Kobe and Max looked at the teenager with tears of joy.
