Double Celebration

*Rocky's POV*

"Mommy! Daddy said I can eat ice cream na" mabulol bulol na sabi ng anak ko.

"Tsk Drax naman sabi ko wag mo muna payagan eh!" Sigaw ko kay Drake na nasa seashore having a beer with Jack.

He just smiled goofily and made a peace sign with his hand. "Birthday naman babe eh pagbigyan mo na"

Ugh.

Yumuko ako and caressed her head. "Okay, pero last na to ha? Kumain ka muna ng kanin Zoe and after that, pwede ka na kahit ilang ice cream pa, okay?"

"Okay mommy"

I smiled as she run inside the house to get an ice cream.

It' been 2 years and 6 months since we left the Philippines. Today is 2nd birthday of Zoe which is me and Jack's birthday too.

Nakakatuwa lang isipin na pareho kami ng birthday ng anak ko. I named her Zoe which means Life in Greek.

Nakakalungkot lang on the other hand dahil all this time na nandito kami ay kami kami lang talaga magkakasama. We don't have friends here and Zoe doesn't have somebody to play with except kaming tatlo.

Kami ni Drake, we're happy and contented. Si Jack? Sila na ni Aubrey. Nakakatawa lang isipin na naging sila nung day na nanganak ako which makes this day super special for all of us.

Pumunta ako sa seashore kung saan nandun si Drake at Jack. Umupo ako sa tabi ni Drake at umunan sa balikat nya.

He's been really good to me and Zoe. Walang gabi na natulog kami ng magkagalit. Saying that I am very lucky to have him is an understatement.

He kissed my head. "Ano gusto ng birthday girl?"

I chuckled. "Si Zoe ang girl ako ang woman"

"Pareho naman kayong girl. Actually mas woman nga ata sayo pamangkin ko eh" Jack said.

I frowned at him. But that is scarily true. Sometimes nagkakatinginan nalang kami kung pano magsalita si Zoe. Para syang matanda na madaming alam sa buhay.

"Birthday ko rin naman ah can you give me a kiss too Drake?" Jack said.

"Wag ka maingay Jackson mabibisto ang affair natin" Drake winked.

"Oh my Gosh."
I said as I rolled my eyes and grabbed a bottle of beer.

"Babe you're gonna drink?"

"Uhm, oo sana I've never had beer since I'm pregnant. And hindi naman na ako nag be-breast feed kay Zoe..ayaw mo ba babe?"

"Hindi naman, kakagulat ka lang." Napatawa kami.

He opened the beer for me and I began to drink.

"Oh dahan dahan lang. Napaka hina pa naman nyan ni Liz sa alcohol"

"Tss dati yun"

"Wow so ibig sabihin ngayon malakas ka na?"

Drake laughed and hugged me as Jack teased me more.

Not long after, the moon replaced the sun.
I am currently tucking Zoe in her bed.

"Mommy?"

"Yes baby?"

"Dada Jack said if I eat too much ice cream I will poop ice cream too."

I chuckled. Yung kambal ko kung ano ano tinuturo.

"Does that mean that I, I can eat my poop?"

Nanlaki ang mata ko. "Zoe NO. Poop cannot be eaten and poop will never become an ice cream because it's the dirtiest thing in the world okay? Dada is lying"
