Saturday morning seemed strange to Naruto. He had woken up with a headache and all alone. Iruka had texted that Kakashi and him were off to look at wedding things. He's never been alone in the house before, not even at the orphanage. He had gotten out of bed not bothering to make his bed and headed to the bathroom for medicine and to do his normal routine. After his morning shower and washing his face and teeth Naruto headed downstairs. He could eat cereal for breakfast and call up his friends to hang out.

When Naruto's feet touched the last step, he got a scare of his life. Sitting in the living room with their back turned to him was none other than Sasuke. Standing there in the pajama bottoms he changed into after showering Naruto glared daggers at the back of the head. Sasuke must have felt them and turned around with a smug look on his face. Naruto crossed his arms over his bare chest and put his weight onto one leg.

"What are you doing in my house? Get out." Naruto demanded and pointed his thumb in the direction of the front door.

"That's no way to treat company. I talked with Iruka before he left, he let me in." Sasuke said with a matter-of-fact attitude.

Naruto huffed out his frustration and ignored the brunette as he headed for the kitchen. He didn't understand why Iruka would allow some stranger into the house. Or why he didn't think to tell Naruto. Shaking his head at his forgetful father Naruto made himself a bowl of cereal. Like the mentally ill person he is Naruto put the milk first. Sasuke came in just as Naruto sat at the table.

"Ugh, could you just go back to the living room. Iruka will be home soon." Naruto groaned.

"I'm actually here to see you. We've got a project due Tuesday, and you've got the lowest score in the class. So, I want to make sure you don't write an essay that's as weak as your brain." Sasuke said and sat across from Naruto with his head in his hand and his elbow on top of the table.

Naruto rolled his eyes at the dark-haired teen and ate his cereal in silence. Sasuke watched him with a glint in his eyes. He watched the way Naruto's mouth opened slightly just before he rose the spoon of cereal to it. He watched the way milk dribbled out the right corner of Naruto's mouth. The way the blonde's tongue flicked out to catch the droplet of milk. Sasuke couldn't help that his mind had taken a major detour to lewd things as he watched the boy in front of him.

"What is the project about again?" Naruto asked.

"To better understand the student sitting next to you." Sasuke answered.

Naruto sighed and finally looked at Sasuke. A wave of frustration took over him and he glared at the brunette across from him. Sasuke smirked and looked down at his nails before looking back up. Naruto could just feel the irritation he was going to get from Sasuke. The blonde didn't like him one bit, but he couldn't help that his heart kind of raced when they made eye contact. He ignored the way his face burned slightly when their eyes met for more than a second. Not really knowing the reaction his body had with the pale teenager across from him Naruto just declared it was anger.

" I've got something important to tell you after the project is complete." Sasuke said as he stood to walk over to the counter.

"Just tell me now." Naruto said and looked down at the slight mess of milk he made when he was staring at Sasuke.

"I think it's better if it's after." Sasuke smiled and tore off a few pieces of the Bounty napkins before walking back and handing them to Naruto.

Just as Naruto was going to fight the front door opened and two very in love adopted parents came in with huge grins. Iruka made his way to their bedroom on the first floor and Kakashi came into the kitchen. The white-haired man stopped in the entryway and looked between the two teens. Sasuke smirked at the older man knowing exactly what it looked like to him. Naruto was too distracted to notice, and he swatted Sasuke's hand away from his chest.

"Good morning." Kakashi said breaking the awkward silence.

"Kakashi! Did you guys get everything already?" Naruto asked standing up with his bowl.

"No, we've still can't decide on how many people are coming and where to have it." Kakashi sighed.

Laughing at how stressing Iruka can be when planning things Naruto patted his other father's shoulder before doing the dishes. Sasuke sat back down at the table and watched the two interact quietly. Iruka came in and greeted their guest before scolding the two who ignored Sasuke.

"Naruto, let's do the project at my house. Come by later." Sasuke said interrupting Iruka's yelling.

Naruto rolled his eyes and agreed only because Iruka was giving him the eye. Sasuke thanked Iruka and Kakashi before leaving. Naruto groaned and started complaining to his parents about how irritating Sasuke could be. The two adults laughed as he described the way his heart fluttered or the way that Sasuke smirked made his face burn with anger knowing exactly what the blonde was actually feeling.

As the three of them spoke in their home just outside Sasuke was smiling to himself. He knew just how to get Naruto to fall for him and it wouldn't fail. He walked into his house and found his brother sitting on the couch asleep. His office door was hanging slightly as if someone had thrown something heavy against it or tried to rip it off. Peeking into the small room Sasuke saw the computer screen broken with a hole in the center, the desk was a mess of papers and there were dents in the metal of the desk.

"What happened?" Sasuke asked turning back to his brother.

Sighing Itachi pointed down at his lap. Sasuke walked over and looked over his brother. Laying across the older brunette's lap was a blonde he knew as his brother's 'hook-up', Deidara.

"You guys are weird as fuck." Sasuke said knowing what happened now.
