My Song to You

Naruto woke up just like he usually did, groggy. He didn't want to go to school today. He didn't even want to move. He laid there staring at the ceiling as his frog alarm went off. It croaked every three seconds to get the blonde out of bed. Naruto just continued to ignore the clock and laid there. The event of last night came to him and he almost started crying. He couldn't believe Sasuke would sleep with someone even though he likes Naruto. Then he remembered that Sasuke came over to apologize and their kiss making him blush. There was a knock at the door and Iruka came in.

"Turn the alarm off unless you want to wake up Kakashi and deal with that." He smiled.

"Sorry. Hey Iruka?" Naruto asked and reached over and slapped the frog shut.

"Yeah?" Iruka answered as he stepped in a bit more.

"Do you think I'll get signed tomorrow?" Naruto asked kicking off the covers.

"Of course! You're a great singer." Iruka smiled brightly before leaving.

Naruto sat in his bed stretching when his phone went off.

Sasuke (950-xxx-xxxx)

Good morning. <3

Naruto smiled at his phone and set it aside before getting up to start his day. He looked out his window and at the tree Sasuke had climbed up. He laughed and headed over to the closet for an outfit. It was only 6:30 a.m. and the sun was rising slowly. The night sky was fading to a bright shade of blue. Birds sang as they nested, cars rushed by, the hissing of the school buses could all be heard outside the house mixed with the sound of Iruka cursing under his breath downstairs all made Naruto feel at ease. With his outfit and a pair of underwear Naruto headed to the bathroom.

Inside the small room Naruto brushed his teeth with his favorite cinnamon flavored toothpaste and turned the shower on. He let the water run as he did his business in the toilet. As a teen he'd wake up with a little something extra in his boxers, he took care of that too. Finally relaxed enough Naruto stepped into the steaming shower and bathed. The mirror of his bathroom was foggy. There was a steam cloud in the air that filled the entire bathroom. The air was moist and thick. The smell of strawberry and cream filled the air as Naruto washed his hair. After a few seconds the bottle of vanilla bean and honey milk was opened, and Naruto scrubbed himself.

Finally done and dressed Naruto headed downstairs where Iruka had made a big breakfast as usual and Kakashi was sipping his morning coffee behind his book. Naruto sat down and thanked Iruka before digging in. It was seven in the morning when there was a knock at the door. Kakashi got up first and went to answer the door.

Iruka and Naruto ate as they talked about all the possibilities that being signed opened for Naruto.  Naruto still couldn't believe there would be actual producers at their school looking for their next big deal. Kakashi came back with a tail that was Sasuke.

"Good morning. "Sasuke's voice came.

Naruto turned around and smiled at the boy before shoveling his breakfast down his throat. Kakashi watched Naruto with wide eyes at how quick he had eaten his breakfast.  Iruka greeted Sasuke and offered him some food. Sasuke smiled at Naruto before looking up at the adult that was talking to him.

"I just wanted to see if Naruto would like to walk to school together." Sasuke politely said refusing Iruka's food with his hand. 

"Yeah, lemme just get my stuff." Naruto rushed out and swallowed the last bit of waffle in his mouth.

Naruto left the room leaving the teen with his newfound enemies. The kitchen was growing smaller and smaller the longer Naruto took. Kakashi had been staring at him the whole time since Naruto left. Iruka who hadn't known anything was happily making conversation with the young man. Kakashi cleared his throat and put his coffee cup down.
