a/n i just realized all the chapters have the wrrong fking numbers...im dumb as hell.

Sasuke had woken up like usual, grumpy. It was only six thirty in the morning, the sun was rising slowly. There were clouds covering the sun as it rose. There were no singing birds outside his window. For some reason the day seemed gray. As he rubbed his eyes and cleared his throat only to gag at the taste of morning breath. Sasuke got himself ready to get through the day. Groaning he got out of bed and stretched. His bones cracked as he bent over to touch his toes. He grabbed his phone cursing at himself for not charging it. His battery life was only at fifteen, so he plugged it in and sent a good morning message to Naruto. He set his phone down and headed to closet for an outfit. Sadly, all his clothes were black, or navy so there really wasn't much of a choice. He pulled out a soft hoodie with a panther on it surrounding the Uchiha fan and some black jeans that had small rips here and there. He left his room for the bathroom.

"Sasuke! Before you get in there, could you throw me your dirty clothes?!" Itachi yelled from downstairs.

Sighing Sasuke headed back to his room grabbed his hamper by the handle and dragged it out of his room. He placed it at the top of the stairs and contemplated if he should literally throw it or push it down the stairs. Deciding on throwing it since his brother told him Sasuke did just that. He wasn't going to ask why his brother wanted his clothes, free laundry service was better than doing it himself. Once he heard his brother's complaining Sasuke headed back to the bathroom.

After the hot shower and rubbing Irish Spring soap everywhere Sasuke came out squeaky clean. He really didn't want to go to school without Naruto. He dressed himself, styled his hair as usual, grabbed his needed items for school and his phone before heading downstairs. Itachi was in the laundry room trying to figure out the machine he bought himself. Deidara was beside him explaining to him that all Uchiha's would be dead if it weren't for their wives. Sasuke greeted them and headed for the kitchen. Sitting on the table was a plate of eggs and bacon, he knew Deidara made it. Sasuke sat down and ate while scrolling through KonoBook(Facebook...but for konohagakure...).

"Sasuke, after school are you going to Naruto's?" Itachi asked coming in feeling accomplished.

"That's the plan." Sasuke answered.

Deidara came in and cleaned up after the teen. The trio talked a bit about their schedules before Sasuke bid farewell to his weird acting brother and his female like boyfriend. Sasuke looked to Naruto's house when he got outside and sent a small prayer to it. He walked down the stairs and headed for school.

The walk to school was quiet which Sasuke didn't mind. The sun was finally in sky but didn't shine as brightly through the clouds. The air was chilly since the clouds covered the sun. It brushed against Sasuke's warm face cooling him to the bone. Cars passed by him leaving their nasty exhaust fumes. Wishing Naruto was with him Sasuke pulled out his phone to call the boy. when he got a text.

Sasuke smiled and tapped the small phone icon on the top right. The phone rang a bit before a very energetic voice came through.

"Hey, I missed you, so I called." Sasuke said hating himself for being so needy.

"It's okay, I miss you too. Hey, do you wanna come over for dinner?"  Naruto asked a bit nervous.

"Yeah, I'll come. How are you feeling?" Sasuke asked as he crossed the street to meet his friends.

"I'm...okay? I'm still in pain, and I've been taking medicine for it. But..." Naruto trailed off.
