CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE;
• LETTER OF MY HEART •

"el, please! i'm so sorry i didn't tell you sooner, please just open the fucking door! please, janey, please." kai pounds on the front door of the cabin, "i know you're in there."

"i hate you, go away!" she screams.

"jane, i'm-"

a knife flies out of the window and then goes through the window of his car, smashing the glass into pieces.

he gasps, "shit."

"FUCK OFF!"

"jane, i'm sorry." he whispers before walking off.

el sobs quietly, banging her head on her room door repeatedly as her tears drop onto the floor.

she stares at her uncovered wrists, there were so much more scars there and she didn't know how much more of those she could take.

"make it stop..." she slides down her door and drops to the floor with a thud, "please make it stop." she leans against the door.

she grabs the blade near the leg of her desk and sat up a bit straighter against the door.

her scars has made their way up to her forearms now, though the ones there weren't as deep so they wouldn't leave much of a scar thankfully.

the ones on her wrist were really deep though so she could never take off her bracelets.

sometimes she can't even feel the blade on her wrist anymore. she's done it way too many times.

but the amount of scars won't stop her.

she slides the blade across her wrist, watching the blood flow out. she then does it again a few more time, right below the previous cuts and then holds her hand up as the blood trickles down her arm.

she closed her eyes, it felt refreshing.

the amount of blood flowing out of her was now enough to write on her floor.

she used her finger and swiped her blood before starting to write on her floor.

was it bad she liked the pain?

was it terrible she wanted to kill herself?

was it selfish?
