"el? kid, wake up, time for hell. i mean school, but get up before i walk in." hopper knocks on the door, "jesus, i'm walking in." he walks into her room.

she wasn't there though, everything was messy, her bed was barely made and clothes were scattered everywhere.

"el?" he walks over to her desk and there a note say.

'went to school early. then staying at kai's for a few days. love youuuuuu!!'

"this kid." he rolls his eyes playfully before walking out.

"so el and your dad got into a thing and she walked out but you didn't chase after her and now you can't get ahold of her?" max tries to confirm as mike nods, "that's about right. what do i do?"

"if she's not responding, it probably means she doesn't want to." she says with a shrug.

"maybe i'll try calling her again later. i'm sure she's fine." he mumbles, staring at his phone, "OH MY GOD, IT'S EL!" he screams making everyone jump.

"what?" lucas asks.

"she just texted."
