Chapter22-Nanny

Mia's P.O.V.

Ive been up for about fifteen minutes now watching Carl sleep. Sounds weird i know but he is just so freaking cute when he sleeps! Rick walked into the room as i started playing with Carl's hair. "Tell him and Hayes when he wakes up that I'm going with Shane bring Randal somewhere." Rick says. I nod and he leaves. "Carl." i whisper in his ear. "Come on babe wakey wakey!" I shake Carl. He opened his blue eyes and i smile. "Hi." i whisper. Carl smiles "Hi princess." he yawns. I giggle "Your dad went with Shane bring Randal somewhere and he told me to tell you." i say and Carl nods. "Do you wanna go see Beth soon?" Carl asks. I nod as i lay my head on his chest. "I just wanna lay with you for a little while though." i say. Carl smiles "There is absolutely no problem with my baby wanting to lay with me." Carl wraps his arms around my waist. I started kissing Carl's lips and he kissed me back. "Not what I wanted to wake up to." I hear Hayes groan as i kiss Carl agin. I giggle as Carl grabs a pillow and blocks our faces then kisses me agin. "I love you." he whispers and i smile "I love you too." I say. Carl puts the pillow down and i see Hayes covers his ears "Just because I cant see doesn't mean I cant hear!" Hayes says. We all laugh "Okay so what's on the agenda for today?" Carl asks. I shrug "I dont know." i answer truthfully. "I have a question" Hayes says "How does it feel to be a big brother?" Hayes asks Carl. "Um.... i mean im really excited actually." Carl says. I smile "I really can't wait till we find out what mom is having!" Carl says with a big smile. "Baby stop! Your gonna make me die from your cuteness!" I gush. Carl laughs. I decided to let Hayes and Carl talk while i went down stairs and helped mom and Lori make Nanny some breakfast. After that I went back to my room to talk to the boys "Mia." i hear Lori say "Beth i think would enjoy some company right now." Lori says. We ended up all going in there. Me, Lori, Hayes and Carl. Nanny was crying a little. "I know how it feels." Lori says. "I tried reaching my mom for days but nothing happened." Lori says. Nanny shakes her head "It just seems so pointless." She whispers. "Oh hunny. This life is not pointless." Lori tells Nanny. "You have everyone here. Maggie, Mia, Hershel, Patricia and Jimmy." Lori goes on. "You gotta stay strong for them." Carl grabs my hand and laces our fingers together. Nanny still had tears running down her cheeks. I let go of Carl's hand and ran y to her. I hugged her "You cant leave me. There is a point to this life there has to be please just don't leave me!" I bed. Nanny hugs me back "Thank you." she tells Lori and Lori nods. "Well were gonna go on a walk so how bout you kids come and keep Beth some company with me." Lori says. I nod and grab the plate nanny had ln her night stand. I brought it down stairs when i noticed the knife was missing that mom had put in there. "Lori didn't we give her a knife?" I ask out of curiosity. "Yeah why?" Lori asks. I drop the plate and run up to Nanny's room. "Give it now!" I say sternly. Nanny doesn't say anything "Why? Why do you want to leave me?" I ask in tears. "Please Nanny don't do this!" I beg. Lori walks in "Beth give the knife to us now." Lori says. Nanny slowly hands over the knife and i yank it from her hands. Right before i leave to go out the room i stop. "You can't leave me Nanny. I just got you back and lost some very important people. You can not leave me!" I stress then walk out the room. I walked into the kitchen and threw the knife in the sink as i started to cry. My hands were over my eyes as i cried alone in the kitchen. I felt two hands pull my hands away from my eyes. "Its gonna be okay Mia." Carl says. He wipes my tears away "I promise everything will be okay." he assures me. "Im going look for your mom or Hershel stay here with Beth" Lori says as she runs outside. A few minutes later mom comes running in then you heard the yellin. "What if Mia would've saw you lying dead on this bed how do you think that would make her!" I hear mom yell "You mean to much to this family to just leave like that Beth! You die, Mia dies, i Die, daddy dies its a constant thing of deaths and you know it would so your pretty much killin the whole family if you kill yourself!" I hear mom shout. "Im sorry i just dont want any more hurt!" I hear Nanny cry. I walk upstairs and Carl grabs my hand "Dont." he says. I nod and just stand by the door. I hear more yelling and run downstairs. I wanted to hear everythin but then agin i just couldn't. "This could've been handled better. I cant believe Maggie" I hear Andrea say as i walk into the kitchen which is where her and Lori were. "This isn't your problem so shut the hell up!" I growl at her. "Mia!" Carl snaps at me. "Talk shit about my family like that after what we've been through! I don't think so! You don't know shit so I suggest you keep your mouth shut you little whore!" I yell as i walk towards her. "Mia stop!" Carl yells at me as he holds me back.I trued pulling away but couldn't. I started crying and gave up pulling away from him. I fell to the floor and Carl cradled me in his arms. "Shhh its gonna be okay babygirl." Carl tells me as he comforts me. Lori and Andrea were staring at me in shock. Lori looked at me then glared at Andrea. "Lori you were in the wrong too! You shouldnt have taken the knife away." Andrea says. "Why? For Mia Hershel and Maggie to be destroyed! They kill themselves! Then Glenn and Carl and Hayes and Me and Rick!" Lori yells. "What I did saved half the people in this very houses life!" Lori growls. Carl nods "Its true." Carl says as he rocks back and forth with me in his arms. "You don't even help! You just sit on top of the RV with a shot gun in your lap." i say. "Im protecting us from walkers!" Andrea defends herself "i can shoot better then you Andrea!" I yell at her. Andrea looked pissed at me but i really didn't care. "You know nothin-" Andrea starts and i jump out of Carl's lap. "I know lots more then you okay! I live here i can easily kick you out so shut up!" I yell. "You two make his life seem perfect!" Andrea says. "Lori got her husband back, her son, a boyfriend, and a baby." Andrea says and Lori's mouth falls when she says boyfriend. "And Mia got her a boyfriend, her family, a few best friends." Andrea continues. "I swear to god i will beat your ass!" I yell as i run towards Andrea. Carl holds me back as i thrash around. "Ive lost way more people then you so don't you dare say my life is easy!" I shout at the top of my lungs. "Woah!" I hear Hayes say. He comes in front of me and grabs my legs that i was kicking around with. Him and Carl pulled me back "Let me go!" I scream. I see Momma run down stairs "Maggie ill explain after you just go tend to Beth." Lori says as she comes next to me. "Baby girl calm down." Carl says. They brought me to my room and let me calm down. "Im just gonna go check on Nanny." i say. I walk to her room and see her and my mom talking. Nanny looks at me "Mia. She is such a fragile little thing that we love." Nanny says as I sit on the bed. "Do you really want to see her be torn apart by those things?" Nanny asks "Or do you want her to see you get torn apart by those things?" Nanny asks agin. "Stop it Beth!" Momma says. "No!" Nanny snaps. "I want to go.....tonight in this bed with you and Mia with me" Nanny grits through her teeth. "Mia go find Carl and Hayes." Momma says. I nod "Yes ma'am." i whisper and scurry out of the room. "She wants me and momma to do it with her." i say as i enter my room where the boys were. "What?" Carl asks quickly. "She said she wanted to go in her bed tonight with me and Momma besides her." i say as i close my door. Carl grabs my wrist "No your not doing it!" Carl says frantically. I nod "I know. I know" i repeat. Carl sits me down next to him and Hayes and attempt to get my mind off of things. I heard glass shatter from the bathroom then Nanny's cries. I shot up and ran to the bathroom that was in her room. Carl and Hayes ran after me and i tried opening the bathroom door. "Nanny open the door!" I yell as i bang on the door "Carl it wont open!" I yell as i start to cry. "Hayes go get mom and Maggie!" Carl yells as he bangs on the door and tried to open it with me. Mom and Lori soon came running in. "She's in there cryin and it wont open momma!" I cry. "Where is Andrea? I left her in here with Andrea!" Mom says. "Oh my god i hate that....UGH!" I yell as i start to look for the key. I couldn't find it. "Beth none of us are mad just open the door!" Mom cries. "Nanny please!" I beg but nothing happened"Okay everyone push on the door on three. One two three!" Mom says and we all ram into the door. It opened and i stood back in shock at what i saw. There was glass every where and Nanny had a bloody wrist. "Im sorry." she says as her tears fall onto the floor. Carl moved me out of the way so mom could bring Nanny get cleaned. Carl wiped my tears away "It's okay she is gonna be okay." Carl says with tears forming in his eyes. "I hate her." i repeat over and over agin as i cry. Carl brought me outside and i saw Andrea. "Back around! Back around!" I hear Hayes say quickly but it was to late the words i hate using were already flying through my head like a tornado. "You left her!" I yell. "She nearly died because of you!" I yell. Momma runs outside "She lived." Andrea says. "My father is stitching her wrist right now!" Momma hisses. "Stay away from my family." Mom growls. "Come on Mia." Momma brings me inside and Carl rubs my knee with his hand. "You okay?" He asks. I shrug "I guess" i reply. Rick and Shane soon came back with Randal agin. I don't know what happened but I really don't care. Carl sat next to me and held me close. I hugged him tightly as Hayes rubbed my back "Everything is okay now babygirl." Carl whispers and kisses my forehead. "Thats what you always say." i whisper.
